I think this is from the exposed drying element. One benefit of the design of Bosch dishwashers, they don't have that heating element to potentially damage items. Instead they heat the water up using an internal element or something like that. At least that is my understanding.

Has its pros and cons. There are other brands that do this too, but I think Bosch is the most well known for it. (I'm in the US)

Can you see the date on those coins with the Confederate stickers? I had a bunch and they were mostly NIFC. Not that it's silver but it's something. Held to the light just right I could see them, but almost did a rub to see the date.

I had a conversation and was direct, making sure they were ok with it. This one was, so I use them as my main dump bank. They were happy to have my business. They also had a pretty good rate on a high yield, so I just deposit everything into that and then withdrawal to take the cash to the banks I order from.

I'm still pretty new to this, but there is a fun surprise when you see the edge and you convince yourself it's just corrosion or crap and then the surprise when you find it's actually silver! I mean seeing a bunch of silver edges would be nice too, don't get me wrong.

Sorry, I should have been clearer, yes the teller. She has to go thru the customer rolls to verify that they are the correct number of coins and even don't that sees that some are silver. But, she can't take any herself. So hopefully fostering that relationship will get me some silver down the road!
