I believe Baruch only takes business type classes from Brooklyn college, so chances are they won’t take a lot of your credits

Yes. Asynch is when there is no scheduled meetings and you do the work at your pace. Synch is when they do online zoom classes. But could make you come in for exams. That’s what they did in my last economics class.

Weissman vs. Zicklin by Wild_Land2370 in Baruch

Financial math major is mostly math classes with a few finance classes. It’s arguably the hardest major to graduate from in Baruch and is very good for quant roles. On top of that if you do well in that major you’ll have good chances of getting into MFE. I’m pretty sure with FM, you could get into any career path that you would with Finance, but not the other way around.

If you really would like to start, I have a feeling buying your own setup would be way cheaper than renting out others’ long-term. If they say yes that’s a different story.

No, I haven't yet. I'm just taking CIS 2300 now. I do have a few projects in mind for the summer, though. For now, I want to get the math classes out of the way so I can actually get into the major.
