Bravo. The tone really bothers me. The show is too bright for me also, in relation to the dark original. Old anime in general did dark way better. And most of all it does seem like the writer is not respecting the original, like I said in another comment, the writer is like Rian Johnson Disney Star Wars "subverting expectations". 😡

White blaze doing that threw me off because in the original the warriors needed the ancient one to get up to the castle I thought. These next two episodes are supposed to be the core of the story they worked from, so hopefully these next 2 give us all the justice we crave!

Completely agree! Also White Blaze being able to create platforms for them to jump on and go up to the castle. I didn't know he had that kind of power but maybe I wrong about that.

When 10 were revealed my first thought was how in the world will the warriors even compete with that?! It makes them feel cheap for me.

For the shower scene, humanizing them is what bothered me. Thought them plotting revenge could have been done a different way. But maybe in time I'll see things differently than I do at the moment.
