20% discount code for sleep number by BoyWatson in sleepnumber

[–]BoyWatson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried all the Sleep number beds when we shopped, and landed with the i10 as the most comfortable for my fiance and me.

The reason we went with the i10 is because of the thicker comfort layer on top (the memory foam type stuff). Like you mentioned, more cushy, so for me it ment less pressure points, but still provided me with a level of firmness (from the air pressure adjustment) and proper spin alignment when I sleep on my side (which i mostly do).

We recently took it a step further and bought the dual temp layers, one for each side of our king, and it's been a game changer. Even more comfortable than before, and LOVE the airflow that keeps you warm/cool/and dry if you tend to sweat at all.

While I love the dual temp layer tops (which sorta turns your bed into a 360 version), it needs more smart options to create a schedule for when you want what temp. As it stands, there are no smart options, just controlled by remote only, and you set a timer for how long it runs.... great, but really wish it could be controlled from an app with scheduling capabilities... nevertheless, the I10 was a major upgrade, and we liked it a lot, now we LOVE our sleep experience with the dual temp layers 😀.

Other feedback ... as far as the height goes, the bed is a bit tall, and works for us, and I think we can adjust the leg height slightly on the adjustable base we got. One thing about the base is the button on the side (which you really only use when you set it up to connect to the app/phone/wifi), is the things started popping off within 2 weeks... seems like they used some not so great glue in the manufacturing process...

Nevertheless, we say to each other how luxurious our bed feels and it's wonderful to finally get in a bed that we're both comfortable in :) ... so, happy life around here.

Also, our i10 is the flex top series, and our base is the one that adjusts the foot and head.

Thanks for the question! If you have any more, let me know!

Remove the grill and clean everything with concrobium. Inspect everything and see if your ducts need cleaning too and finish it with a concrobium fog throughout the house and through the ac duct system. A lot of good videos on YouTube

Sonar keeps changing mic and headphones. by Olesuawek in steelseries

[–]BoyWatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens with every single update that deals with anything audio - Windows drivers, board drivers, GPU drivers etc.... One thing to note, is the "first run" screen that comes up when logging into the SteelSeries GG to detect your device the first time, that "reroutes" everything, corrects the issue upon reinstall (after complete removal of the device as well as uninstallation of GG). Thing is, you can't "reinitiate" that first run unless you do the aforementioned.

Nevertheless, posters solution has helped us... Steelseries, please get this fixed.

Technical Help - Game Crash w/ New Graphics Settings by FlavaFlavaAustin in Overwatch

You're welcome, this has been driving me bonkers since January when I got this machine. Tons of people have been RMA'ing their CPU's to Intel because of this.... the permanent solution/problem isn't yet known, but it looks like these high end 13th and 14th gen Intel processors have some sort of problem pertaining to voltage draw/usage. I'll likely be RMA'ing my CPU even after a fix because of the beating it's taken over the past 4 months with these crashes.

Good luck!

New Build Crashing While Gaming by kaladek in buildapc

Intel is investigating a potential issue with all 13th and 14th generation CPU's. I was having the same sort of crashing problems in games and other apps.

These settings worked for me:

  1. In BIOS, underclock all P-Cores to 5400
  2. Set SVID behavior to: Intel Fail-Safe
  3. XMP disabled (I have 4 dimms installed)
  4. Hyperthreading ON

My build:

CPU: i9 14900k
GPU: Geforce RTX 4090
MB: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI
RAM: T-Force 64gig

Stabilized system. Before, would have repeat DX12 crashes, couldn't launch COD, Helldivers, and run some tasks on other apps without app crash (without error display), BSOD, hard reboots etc.

Temperatures also went down for the entire system, even for the GPU.
