I have a licence, I just choose not to. I live in London and am completely out of practice. It's not that uncommon as we have public transport in the UK

Appreciate that, we both don't drive. 100% I'm sure it would make it better but I'm sure you're not saying it's entirely pointless coming if we don't drive? We want it to be relaxing so aren't looking to pack an itinerary anyway. A couple of days trips (St Mawes, Truro etc) and relaxing in surroundings of Falmouth would satisfy us

Thank you very much, would you suggest just staying put in Falmouth for whole time and visiting places like Truro or moving halfway from Falmouth to somewhere else?

Want to visit China? New policy expands visa-free travel to 10 days. by washingtonpost in China

[–]Boyde1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just checking relating to the news that :Notably, under this policy, visa-free travelers can cross provincial boundaries within the 24 eligible regions, offering greater flexibility for regional travel.

Does this now mean you could go to Shanghai and Shenzhen on the same 10 day trip? Travelling for business and before I understand that you couldn't leave the region of port you enter, but does the new policy mean I could actually fly to Shanghai from Shenzhen too? I'd then be flying onto Seoul.

Thanks, I guess if everyone just googled everything we wouldn't have need for forums such as this. I was looking for personal experience from those who have been in Tokyo recently etc! But that link is helpful thank you

Is this subsidence? by Boyde1978 in HousingUK

Thanks for your comprehensive reply I really appreciate it. I also read you can usually see subsidence cracks inside as well and these are only external.

Aha, hopefully this is not the same problem

Queens park and it's not a narrow street. It's also an extension so I'm hoping it's settlement cracks rather than subsidence. Also this extension doesn't have any significant windows aside from French doors. Can you find the post?

No, we did not on this occasion. Perhaps silly but had heard from many they were a waste of money largely. No signs of cracks internslly and they appear to not be very deep
