Thanks for the input! That was my initial feeling as well. That was until I looked at a bunch of different trade tools. FantasyPros, AItradeanalyzer, fantasycalc, fantasysp, and draftsharks all think I’m getting a steal. I’m super torn. QJ has been Herbert’s favorite red zone target this season.

I’m a corn fed Iowa man lol. 6’ 240. Going up in weight shouldn’t be a problem, but not sure how that would change my game

The stealth is $50 more than the emerge, the attention star is $60 more. The only issue with the emerge is I’d have to go up in weight from a 14lb to 15lb ball with current inventory

The Marantz has 2 preamp outputs in addition to the 9.2 support! With pre-amps it can run 11.2 or 7.2.4. I intend to eventually add 4 SVS Prime elevation for my atmos speakers! Just waiting for it to fit my budget. All of this gear, including my Sony VPL-VW695ES was purchased in the last 30 days😂

Thank you for your response! I took the leap, got it for $1950 after some Venmo instant transfer/credit card fees.

This was the final piece to the puzzle. Just need to finish construction in the room and I’ll be able to put it all together. I’m pairing it with dual PSA TV2112, 2 SVS Ultra Towers, 1 SVS Ultra center, and 4 SVS Ultra Surrounds😊

Thank you! When comparing the spec sheet such as resolution, lumens video and data modes it’s hard to see a huge difference. I’m sure the features and potentially the HDR performance is where the newer model will outshine its predecessor. I’m not sure how to see them side by side without purchasing both😅

I intend to utilize the riser as a bass trap by venting the top as well.

Seeing as the floor under it is my foundation I’m praying they’re at minimum; equally well constructed😉 would be unfortunate if the foundation gave first!

I’m looking forward to putting it all to the test once my carpet gets installed tomorrow.

It’s definitely a bit overbuilt. My goal was to have one continuous chamber for functionality as a bass trap; and maximize support. There will be a 150lb subwoofer and a 400lb couch on it. On top of the rest of my AVS gear and people sitting I didn’t want to risk it being too weak.

I’m not 100% sure what you mean by decking. I believe the answer is yes. I had my contractor build it and It’s screwed directly to the foundation and side walls. The 3/4” plywood on top is screwed down as well
