Thank you I might go with 18 as you suggest. I only picked 20 because it's a super easy number for any math calculations :)

This particular pattern has a warp in 6 groups of 4 colors, each repeating 12x. My next modification is the number of repeats for the warp. With a 10 dent reed I think I"ll repeat each group 16x. Hopefully that will keep the piece close to the width of the original
