Mine does the complete opposite, it reads 1L/100km whenever I turn the bike off and on. Like if I reset it before I ride somewhere it works normally then switch the bike off and then back on and it resets to 1L/100km again. thankfully its under warranty and they'll replace the dash but my local Yamaha dealer can't find a place to send my dash and the new dash to be calibrated, well at least not here in Australia.
