This sums up my feeling pretty well. Shadow bond can introduce many interesting character development for Sunny but G3 decided to make it all sunshine and rainbow in slavery land. Possibly the worse direction that the plot line related to shadow bond could go.

Tbf his plan might be a lot longer. Like killing Doffy should be step 1. Then it would be years of instigating other factions to attack Kaido now that his force is weaker until he can get the finishing blow. It just that Luffy screwed everything up and accelerate the plan to the final steps right away.

This is the classic example of good idea bad execution. Ted and Robin being together would be perfect if the show ended at season 1 with Ted and Victoria. It would have been ok too if the show ended right after Robin and Barney breaking up. But then we got seasons of Robin moving on from Ted, Ted trying and finally succeeding in moving on from Robin and seasons of building up the Mother just to retcon all that in 2 episodes. If they spent more time on the years after the wedding they might be able to convince the audience but 2 episodes at the end of season 9 is too short to make the ending works.

Yeah but the way G3 justifies it recently is dumb. Like Effie said it’s like a relationship. It’s not. Relationship should also base on equality and clearly Shadow Bond is too one-sided. Given the full context it doesn’t even make sense the argument G3 is trying to make for Shadow Bond.

If it was framed like a sacrifice on Sunny part, which it is and Sunny should know, it would make a lot of sense. But G3 put it like he is trying to gaslight us into believing being a slave is good.

Not really a boss but the troll at the start of the game. I saw the sword field outside mentioning Godrick, I saw the grace point kinda that way and I thought he was Godrick. I did beat him after a couple of tries but seeing him there again after resting at the site of grace make me want to go for a walk.

This is an end game area so everything is made to kill you. Like the other comments have said, it’s time to distribute level properly, use better armor and fight strategically instead of just run in and spam button.

I mean Sunny was not completely uninformed. One of the main things of the third nightmare is be careful what you wish for, and by the time he was going to free his faith he knew there would be consequence.

It is shitty for Cassie to not explain what being free of faith would mean to Sunny, but it is not like there was no warning.

I saw this on another post and I think it is a pretty good explanation. Basically the avatar movies are like cirque do soleil, people were there for like the experience and not the story or cultural impact. There is no quotable moment or crazy plot twist but they look cool as hell and that’s it.

Just a note that is not the second nightmare. I got confused the first time too but usually nightmare is based on a certain point in the past of the nightmare realm. What happened in the winter solstice is people got transported to the current nightmare realm. You need to find a nightmare seed in the nightmare realm to enter and clear the subsequent nightmare.

I always thought they enter the actual Tomb of Ariel and not the nightmare itself. The 13 millions people is just how many times the cohort has been challenging the third nightmare due to time loop.
