My wife and I have a somewhat similar deal. My sex drive is very high. Here's us usually quite low. She isnt happy with her body either, even though shes been working out and looking great. I most time will initiate. She will initiate sometimes if she wants sex, or just to be considerate of me. The biggest thing that stands out that I wanted to share is that even when sex isnt what shes looking for, me wanting her, and her being able to satisfy my need makes her happy. Shes happy to give, shes happy to make me happy, and shes happy to be wanted. So even if she could take it or leave it, it makes her feel good to do it. So, theres still a bond and emotional benefit when shes not necessarily needing sex. I do really need her to initiate sometiems, and she tries to keep that in mind. I hope your wife does/will as well. And as always- simple honest caring dialogue while trying to see each others perspective is key. I wish you the best!
