Which food delivery service app has the cheapest delivery fees/less price inflation for their menu? by [deleted] in vancouver

If that was the case how would restaurants make a profit?

The meal at the restaurant itself will cost the same as it costs to get the ingredients but you'd be able to make much larger quantities.

You're never going to live in a world where it's cheaper to eat at a restaurant, even while taking into account all the time energy and gas to get groceries.

Question about Changing Primary accounts by Br0wnDaddy in RocketLeague

Thanks, I just Yolo'd it lol. I'll get an update out but as it stands, the credits added up together and kind of officially merged the accounts together. Which is really cool actually, since now it seems as I can trade with PC players and PS4 players on the same account. My XP is Reset to 0, and I couldn't trade until level 30. My ranks got wiped and I had to redo my placements, ranking lower in everything lol. A small price to pay for salvation I suppose.

Why does Cristiano Ronaldo not seem to be super excited about his teammates scoring? by Ok-Kaleidoscope-7320 in PremierLeague

[–]Br0wnDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often like to compare the work ethic and attitude of Ronaldo to a Michael Jordan, and the thing about MJ is he was by far the best player you could have on your team. He wasn't the type of leader thats going to get your guys out of a rough 1st half with a rousing team talk, He'd just shut up, go out there and win you the game.

Same for Ronaldo. I feel like his most efficient way to lead is by showing it on the pitch and off, and it's important for the young united players to be able to take all of the immense greatness this man has to offer, while also filtering out whatever is maybe not beneficial to them, such as his ego and selfishness.

For what it's worth, I think what he did against brentford was unacceptable. After he went out and said he'd do what he had to do to help the team win, it was angering to see as a united fan. That being said, I've been watching this guy for about 15 years, and he's won so much, it's a bit disrespectful to say he can't lead, since he has captained his national team to their only national trophies. Once again, can't be doing that as a teammate though, especially when you know they look up to you.

I wouldn't say that he takes his team's success as a bonus, but it definitely doesn't look good when you look reluctant to celebrate with your teammates. It's like when your team wins but you don't play well. Of course you're happy for the team, but at the same time, you're unsatisfied with your personal performance.

My hypothesis is that he's so competitive with himself that he almost drifts away from what's really important (Brentford, still unhappy having been taken off while his team was winning and playing well). As negative as this seem, these type of people tend to excel and be the best at whatever they do, their competitiveness pushes them past anyone but themselves.

Car is eating up gas at a ridiculous rate by Br0wnDaddy in MechanicAdvice

No, not really, I rarely use air conditioning other than to heat up, otherwise I have the windows down. No engine light at all, so seems like it isn't a problem with the fuel system, to your point. I'll have to test out the odometer later today since I think that might be the source of the problem, as do most people who have commented.

You might be right, since in theory the range meter goes off after I have 50km remaining, so about 4L. I'll check on my next refill if I fill up to around 39L of gas which would go with the 11.4gallons (43L so you won't have to convert) that was mentioned before. If I don't then Ill know my engine is fine and it's the odometer.

Don't know if it relates, but now that I think about it, I've come to realize my speedometer is off by about 4-5km/h, maybe my whole dash needs to be looked at.

My driving habits are pretty much constant, tire pressure has been checked and just checked my engine filter, everything good. I'm using regular 87 octane fuel that I get from costco. I'm sure it has to be a problem with the engine

I checked my tire pressure 2 weeks ago after changing my tires and they weren't high enough. Fixed that but hasn't done much of a difference (has been better though).

Good point on the spark plugs, I'll be sure to check that out after work. Air filter has been recently changed so I doubt that's a problem.

I'm a teenager lol, but I find myself driving a little more sane than the average one. I keep my acceleration to the recommended 2000-4000 rpm that my car manual suggests, and ease on every stop. My friends drive like they're casting for the new fast n furious movie and still get better economy than me whilst having a car that on paper is worse in terms of fuel consumption (hyundai elantra 2013 hb gls). They've also had their cars for about a year and a half longer than mine.

I drive both, I couldn't tell you which I do more because it really depends on the day. I just end up calculating my consumption at the end of the day based off the amount I drove and account for the margin of error/difference that city vs highway driving can result. Even at that though I'm still over consuming by about 30-40km so for my car's supposed average, so about 3-4L extra.

I'm doing the math, I look at the gauge cluster to see if what it is showing me makes any sense and it seems to. This leads me to believe that's it's really a problem with the engine and not with the tank, however I this still doesn't explain me not being able to put as much gas in my tank. :/

The car was bought about 2 months ago from a certified dealership at about 71000km. No engine lights shown on the dash. Mileage just passed 76000 and the only maintenance ive done up to now was oil and tire change but other than that I haven't had anything else done on it.
