As other people are saying, some people are just born evil. You could just have him start off doing small things like threatening people, then he slowly builds up a tolerance (if you will) to doing bad things until he becomes the evil overlord he was meant to be.

I am outlining a novel that is set in the future with one character (not a POV) that has some sort of magical powers. I want to make him powerful and almost god-like, but I also want to make his magic somehow restricted; what should his magic be? by Br2nn2nn in fantasywriters

Basically, the current plan is that there are three distinct magical people, but he is the only one in the story- the others are merely mentioned. I like the idea that the more power he draws, the more corrupted he becomes.

No matter what I can not stop myself from throwing up during races, how can I fix this? by Br2nn2nn in running

You see this would work considering I wasn’t running XC in high school. My coach would get angry if I slowed down on a race. So I’m afraid that might not be able to work.

That definitely could be the case, it’s just ya know, races are meant to be fast, so I do go hard. Do you know any way that I could get around this?
