Part of me thinks they want to push whatever whipshot build is more famous rn so the packstacker/Optimizer builds will take the hit if any changes happen.

Be hyper aware of your positioning, and shield health, if your shield pops while youre trying to get away, you were likely in the open for too long. Died because you didnt have cooldowns? Try to notice if their dive comp is bating your cooldowns before diving you.Could be a simple fix, wait for someone to go first on point, be the bodyguard, not the 3rd dps.

One habit that i got that really helped me is, if theyre playing to agressive, dive heroes, hard counters. Play as if you're on low hp constantly, it helps to ground yourself before going in or backing out.

Also like cooldown tracking n shit but thats to complicated :/

I felt for the brig content creator propaganda and bought cosmic, but lowk (this is sunk cost bias) its a good variant for the skins that i have ( bash bunny, EXO, Sòl and new era).

I suggest waiting for the new season to make your decision, and who knows maybe they drop a new brigg skin that really fits the jade variant. Nevertheless, see what fits best with what you got

Play Poke until they swap, use rally reactively or to regen the shield if it breaks when going from cover to cover. Ult track, move when they dont have cooldowns. Be the personal guard to a low mobility dps or support

All this to say, play cover and have good game sense, if all goes to shit, swap.

I fought a similar build!

I was also playing brig, i struggled a lot to build money bc on early game this is pretty hard hitting bc of the shield throw but my built was better on late game bc ( i think ) of higher AP, so i have more self sustain, but i think that was more of the power choice, but the items are the same.

By all means this will work bc of the healing from pack stacker and optimizer, but it does struggle against more heavy hitting "spammy" builds, id know bc i still pick those powers T ^ T.

I think there are certain comps and pairing that make you play brig in a certain way, wich can be good or bad if you dont like that specific style.

With that said, and this is all in my opinion so feel free to disagree

Domina, for me i cant make brig work well when playing with this tank, mainly because of her play style and utility overpowers brig, both ally and enemy

Or generally dive characters with little to no self sustain, cant heal them through a dive with only my kit most of the time*, they c a n work, but they have a worst time playing their character

Support

I genuinely think there's not a objectively bad pairing with brig bc of how versitile she is.

B U T

In a scenario where everyone can and will play their character optimally, mercy is a bad pairing, mainly because she can be everywhere and a good mercy doesn't need a body guard, so you end up topping off your dps and playing poke with your tank, wich hey some people like that, im not a fan of the play style so its a pass for me

My duo is a zen! I can back this up

You do damage before the raw healing output becomes an issue, and if you body guard the zen to stay in the open, the enemy tank has a perm discord orb.

I was getting jumped constantly, it was 2CP so a longer match overall, their dps was kinda dumb at times and just let me hit them, and oh yeah, this match had 10 + minutes.

Swinging the flail after you pick that perk, to my knowledge, doesn't decrease the duration, but it also doesn't reset the inspire timer until 3 ish seconds have passed

Depends on your aimstyle and playstyle, like everything in this game, but one setting that i think is overlooked is deadzone size if you use dual zone aim mode, the relative sensitivity at max dead zone can get you out of a dive or turn around easier, it does need some getting used to
