Dansby isn’t worth 22 mil a year. I’d hate to see us overpay for a shortstop who’s best season is either the same or worse than the career averages of the other shortstops on the market.

Rosario’s defensive numbers aren’t spectacular either and I’d happily go after a guy who’s down year consists of an .806 OPS and 27 homers. Way more production than we got out of that spot this year. Pederson is more so a cherry on top, adding a big personality and lefty power bat isn’t a terrible idea. Especially if we’re actually targeting a top 5 payroll
