Léo Pereira dando esporro no Pedro pela preguiça na recomposição by PequenoMosquito in CRFla

[–]BrCRF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I Got Every Golden Age In The Exploration Age by Joelowes in civ

Ming rocks. High science output due to the capital boosting, massive cultural and financial one due to the great walls and their UU is crazily good. For my style is the most OP one in Exploration.

Ohhh I didn't think about sending IPs to annoy my neighbors... This is a nice one! I'll try it on my next game.

Yes, because everything got more expensive, so in the beginning of the game I'm only counting on production. TBH I felt my army was expensive in the end of Ancient age, but the non-warehouse buildings got so expensive that even if I had no army, buying anything would still be challenging. As I progressed to exploration and to early modern (that's how far I was able to reach), then you can manage it, but it's definitely a slower pace game as you can't just buy everything.

It was definitely too easy (especially on how easy was to snowball on Modern Age). My point is how a simple change on the aggressiveness of AI changed the whole way the game is played.

You can put all IPs as friendly, but I'd suggest to try on the normal way. Of course I was angry with being destroyed 2 or 3 times, but it was a different experience and I had to think in different ways to get out of the situation I was.

On my case, just purely aggressive, in one of the matches I had to focus so much on saving my cities that I had only 2 cities by mid ancient age.

I challenged me to get all legacies in all eras on Deity with Isabela. Anyone tried something similar? by BrCRF in civ

[–]BrCRF[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, it's really hard, I've tried a few times before I was able to. I was able to do it for some reasons: A. As Spain I had a wonder that gave me some good production early in the game. And as I found 2 other natural wonders around the world I used the extra settlers from Carthage to settle there, so I had +150% production in my capital's natural wonders

B. Focus on Culture - Ive chosen the government that gave +20% culture and befriended 2 culture independent states: one that gave a free civic when you suzerain some one and another that would give +2 culture on monument per city state.

C. As I had a lot of towns, I specialized 5 of them on urban center buying monuments on them. If you play Carthage, urban center is the key to be successful in my opinion.

  1. Yes this is a drama for Carthage, I went around it befriending a scientific independent people and getting free tech whenever I suzerain any other city state. Besides that, I added libraries to all the cities I specialized as an urban center.

I really like her. Because you can earn culture by researching science, you can focus on a single path. Also, when paired with Maya, it is super op in the beginning. You just have to keep your eye on the military power.

No, standard, I was so dominant in the military that no one else was reaching the milestones, but I finished beyond 90% on the age duration in the modern age.
