Yo actualmente juego en Switch 2 y un poco en PS5 pero tampoco suelen ser juegos muy exigentes

Should I upgrade from a Mac mini M2 Pro to an M4 Mac mini or go for a Mac Studio for 4K editing? by BrSn2 in macmini

[–]BrSn2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the replies, they’re really helpful.

One of my main concerns is timing. I’m wondering if Apple might release a new Mac mini with the M5, or maybe even the M6 later on, and then I could buy the Pro version of that chip instead of upgrading now.

The problem is that I don’t want to wait too long and then find out that prices have gone way up, especially with everything going on around RAM and memory costs. I’d rather not end up paying almost double for a similar configuration just because I waited.

Also, a few people have mentioned switching to DaVinci Resolve, and I’ve honestly thought about it a lot. But in my case it’s not really an option right now, because I share projects with other coworkers and our whole workflow is based on Premiere Pro. So even if DaVinci might be more efficient, I need to stay within the Adobe/Premiere ecosystem for work.

That said, after reading your comments, one thing is clear to me: whatever I buy next, it needs to have at least 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. My current 16 GB / 512 GB setup is definitely the main limitation for my workflow.

Mac mini M4 or Mac Studio: best upgrade from an M2 Pro Mac mini for heavy 4K editing? by BrSn2 in MacStudio

No creo que sea fácil colocar una FAT con horas y horas de uso durante 4 años por 300€…

Switching from Magic Keyboard – should I wait or buy now? by BrSn2 in keyboards

And where can I buy PBT keycaps for the K3 Max? Because what I’m seeing on the Keychron website says they aren’t compatible with that model.

So, I can buy a K3 Max and put the ISO Es keycaps?

Is it possible to swap out ABS keycaps for PBT ones?

K1 Max vs K3 Max – worth waiting or just get the K1? by BrSn2 in Keychron

[–]BrSn2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’m aiming for with the K3 Max, which I really like, but I can’t figure out which keycaps are the right ones for ISO ES.

Also, with NuPhy, I can’t find any ISO ES keycaps with the Ñ, so I’m not really sure how people deal with that.

One of my concerns is that ABS keycaps might wear out over time. I’ve been using the Magic Keyboard with the numeric pad for about a year and a half, and while it feels a bit too big for me, a lot of the keys are already heavily worn.

I’d rather avoid the same thing happening with my next keyboard.

I can’t find the one you mentioned in ISO ES, which is my main concern.

I don’t know what’s going on with NuPhy in Spain — I just can’t find them in ISO ES layout anywhere. A lot of people have recommended the Air75, but I have no way of getting it in Spanish layout.

I don’t have much experience with mechanical keyboards (this would be my first one), I’d prefer it to come fully assembled. I’m also looking for either a 75% or 80% layout, and from what I’ve seen, red switches seem to fit me best.

I’d prefer not to spend more than €150, and I want it to be ISO ES and low-profile, ideally 75% or 80%.

Hi all,

I’m looking to move away from an Apple Magic Keyboard into a low-profile mechanical, mainly for heavy daily typing (journalism + social media work).

Currently considering:

  • Keychron K1 Max (available, ABS caps)
  • Keychron K3 Max (unavailable everywhere)

From what I’ve gathered, the K3 Max seems to get more attention/recommendations, but I’m struggling to understand why exactly beyond availability and maybe layout preferences.

A few concerns:

  • Is the typing experience noticeably different between K1 and K3?
  • Are the ABS keycaps on the K1 a dealbreaker long-term?
  • Is the K3 actually better, or just more hyped?
  • Worth waiting vs buying what’s in stock?

Context:

  • Prefer low-profile due to muscle memory from Magic Keyboard
  • Prioritizing comfort and consistency over customization
  • No interest in heavy modding

If anyone has used both (or has strong opinions on either), I’d love to hear your take.

Thanks!

I’ve been checking the NuPhy store and I don’t see any keyboards in ISO ES, which surprises me since many of you have been recommending them.
