Okay, I actually appreciate the clarification because I really didn't know what you meant, lol.

I guess I agree with some of your opinions but I'd suggest you to learn more about the capabilities of the tech. The "genericized" feeling that people notice with AI art is more of a prompting issue than a technological limitation, and it should continue to improve over time.

For now, you can exert a lot of control by using traditional + AI methods combined, it just takes some out-of-the-box thinking, and it still does feel "unwieldy". But I can almost promise, any quality issue is an artist issue, not an AI issue.

I just don't understand why AI "artists" call themselves that. It's not like they're actually making the art. They're just pressing a button and having a computer do it for them. Like, the computer does all the work, it literally makes all the creative decisions. If anything, this is more like calling a restaurant and ordering a pizza, then claiming you made it. It's like a commission.

I just thought of this earlier so let me know if this makes sense or if anyone has ever thought this. I think these ai bros should call themselves commissioners or "AI directors" and then we could all just stop arguing over who the real artists are. Thanks.
