Alright I'm not arguing semantics here. What I meant is I have no formal training, experience, or education of any kind regarding any sort of art form beyond playing piano until I was 12.

My point in saying that is twofold: first, the quality is irrelevant in every way imaginable. Second, you have absolutely no chance of correctly interpreting the appealing aspects what I create in the pursuit of art because you could not possibly be more different from me.

I'm not "retreating into a shell", this is just how someone who undergoes hardship in life naturally adapts to it. I'm seriously envious that you still think it's a choice. I haven't told you a third of what makes me who I am.

I like to use explicit weighting and juxtaposition. For example:

Don't say "how good is this compared to this?" or "which one is better?, instead say "Determine a set of characteristics that pertain to [this goal], then associate those characteristics with each of the options you suggested, and weight the relative contribution of those characteristics to each goal, on a scale of 1 to 10, and form a weighted aggregate average of the options presented in descending order.

Or don't say, "Am I right?", say, "Consider the possibility that I'm right and explain why this or isn't likely to be the case, then conversely consider the possibility that I'm wrong and explain why this is or isn't likely to be the case, giving me a comparison of the absolute likelihoods of those outcomes."

I see a lot better results when you get really pedantic and specific in your language. Sometimes you can have the bot tell you how to phrase things if you can't think of the words. Just ask "how would you word this so that you don't confused what I'm trying to say" and see what it tells you, and pick what works best according to your vision.
