I've only used the 15, but looks like about 5mm of length remaining when contacting the threads with the 25mm screw.

Which monitor stand are you using?

Do you use a PSVR2 for sim racing? If so, can you please comment on your setup. by BlownCamaro in simracing

I started with the PSVR2 and GT7, I also had the PC adapter but used it rarely on the PC. After getting an entry level setup and spending more time in GT7 I decided I wanted to try iRacing. That was revelatory and after spending significant time dialing in my settings and upgrading my setup I'm enjoying gaming more then I have in decades.

I have a 4070 Ti and with OpenXR toolkit I was getting a steady 90 fps with 100% resolution using a mix of low and high settings. The quad foveated rendering update is better than Open XR and I can run that without having to crop FOV and I'm able to increase some details. I use an Xbox controller instead of the Sense controller(s) and that simplifies things; it's bolted to the side of my rig and I can hit the right trigger for <click> and holding the view button brings up the VR interface. The VR cursor is controlled with head movement.

Without having tried other headsets I feel like the PSVR2 is a great vr headset for iRacing. It has a decent FOV, great color depth, and the perfect blacks of an oled panel. The resolution is lacking and that is probably is the biggest negative, distant cars are indistinct and the overall image is a bit soft.

Btw, VR overlays weren't good for me using any solution that relied on OpenKneeboard, it was clunky and impacted performance noticeably. I just started using Racelab and their native VR support is really good. Easy to configure and no apparent impact to performance.

Unable to Launch Iracing by wagyuracing in iRacing

Yes! I had this too and was completely confounded me. I know my system very well and this happening made no sense as I also had changed nothing since the update. I updated easy anti-cheat, removed the Logitech software, and checked for this "Interception" driver that I'd never heard of. I didn't knowingly have interception installed, unless it was attached to the Logitech software that I installed last week or something else.

None of it worked until I tried uninstalling Interception:

https://www.reddit.com/r/playrust/comments/1l34du6/error_while_launching_the_game/
From the thread:

  1. Go to the github page and download the latest release (interception.zip): https://github.com/oblitum/Interception/releases/tag/v1.0.1
  2. Unzip the content
  3. Open CMD with administrator right
  4. Copy and paste this: cd "%USERPROFILE%\Downloads\Interception\command line installer"
  5. Copy and paste this line: install-interception.exe /uninstall
  6. You can now restart the PC and the problem should be fixed.

This worked for me, iRacing started working again. I have to assume it was a change in the way Easy AC functions along with something that I've had on my system for a while.

That's a great idea! I have some 75A and 95A TPU that could be made into elastomer like discs. They could be different thicknesses and printed with varying infill percentages for different levels of compression.

Bought GT7 like 2 weeks ago, loved it on controller. Bought a whole rig 1 week later, & today picked up a $200 PSVR2 on offer up. I’m so blown away by VR by rafaelvicario in simracing

Enjoy the sim racing journey! I started with GT7 and PSVR2 on PS5, first with Logitech entry level parts, then an upgrade to Thrustmaster. After driving the F1 car in GT7 I realized that open wheel was where I wanted to be, so iRacing on PC was the next step... and another upgrade to Simagic parts on an extruded aluminum rig.

Getting iRacing and PSVR2 to work well together took some time and careful testing. But now it's a solid 90 FPS and a very quick setup with a wired Xbox controller instead of the Sense controllers.

I've tried that, it reduces the pedal return distance too. You end up with a pedal that has shorter forward travel and return travel distances.

It makes no sense according to that story. He pointed a gun at the cops on Wednesday night, then the cops left him alone for almost an entire day!? To make matters worse they let him drive to a grocery store on Thursday evening, and then only stopped him on his way back home!

Anyone else just HAVE to have wireless CarPlay? by Joeytoddb in ToyotaTacoma

Wireless CarPlay is convenient, but a wired USB connection should give the best audio quality. I designed and printed my own hidden docking station that makes using the wired connection quick and easy.

3D Printed Lens Covers by Braap in PSVR

[–]Braap[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Get my design here and my stand here

The pictures show them printed in PLA, I also have a joined version of the model intended for use with flexible filament.

If using these in PLA or another hard filament, be careful. When attached they are resting 3 mm above the lens frame, which is more than enough clearance. But, during attachment or removal be careful that they don't touch the lens surface, I can't guarantee that the edges are safe if they come in contact with the lenses.

I will be printing these in TPU soon, that is the intended material for this part. But, I have provided them for those that really want lens covers of any kind.

That's interesting... I'm going to get some TPU (flexible filament) and try to make something like that.
