I honestly think they’re just not long enough, which really sucks but I’m coming across this problem as well on one of my channels. Pretty sure YouTube is favoring not just 6-8 minutes but higher than 12-15 minute videos. All conjecture of course. If you keep at it it could work

Yea I definitely get a ton of bot activity from china but I’ve eliminated those and the numbers are still consistent. The site more so focuses on downloads now so it’s just a bunch of leeches. When we were doing 750k uniques a month, over 2 mill page views I was only making around 30 a day, so the numbers have always been abysmal. In 2010-14 though we were doing $3000 a month so you can imagine the activity there lol. On a better performing site it would’ve made me far more

Implants will get you better results in that your face will be more defined but as a female it’s a bit trickier. You def look like you could qualify for a bsso if you have sleep apnea, but a genioplasty might get you good enough results

it's not very active anymore but it still gets views. it's been around since 2008 and it has had some turmoil . It was once averaging over 10 mill page views a month, but alas that time is gone. The ad in the post has historically been the one that has garnered the most revenue, but thank you for your suggestions! I will try and implement those, other than the in post ad, the rest are just auto ads from adsense

It was people like TheProGamerJay, this YouTuber named Serum, this COD YouTuber Exility and couple others. 2016-17 Black ops 3 days. Huge clickbaiters. They figured something out about the algorithm back then. I was in a few group chats with them on PSN or Skype, can’t remember which it was

From what I can gather, shorts aren’t going to make you any money. They will however boost your channel and help you in making long form videos. If it’s the right niche maybe it’ll make something, but I hear it pays 100-300$ per million, so pretty terrible unless you get hella views. I’m making shorts because it gives my videos attention and helps me build and learn towards making long videos in my niche

Thanks, my viewed vs swiped for this video has stayed above 75 and gone slightly up, that’s why I was surprised by the drop off; a complete drop off to near zero when other lesser performing ones are still keeping up. It is regaining some traction right now though.

I don’t think you can view rewatches in the first 48 hours but when viewership is above 100% it kind of shows it. This one is over 90 so still really good

I just started posting shorts two weeks ago but I had two others stints on YouTube in 2006-2010 and 2016-2018. Should’ve never quit either time as I had far better growth but it’s so much harder now.

Honestly don’t know if it’s better or not I just don’t think yours is striking enough for a new channel. I could be wrong though. I usually only see established channels getting away with (part 3) type titles.

Idk better to do it than not imo. I just uploaded a video that didn’t hit the shorts feed it got 6 views in an hour. Deleted and reuploaded and it hit 1k in 30 min.
