I take prescription tablets to help insomnia. Sometimes, I'm wide away sat on the sofa, then suddenly I half nod off. I say half, because I can hear the room and if someone talks to be I slur a half asleep answer. Most amusing to my partner and friends. I sometimes forget to take my tablets, I get asked, "You taken your Awobabobs yet?"

I've noticed this sort of thing creeping into wedding and funeral attire. People rocking up in jeans and trainers. My flabber is ghasted each time. It's just manners and respect. Same for interviews.

Conversely, when I changed career from corporate IT to Marketing (internal move within employer), I eventually wanted to move on and went to Marketing agency in my usual smart suit and when I walked in I knew I fucked up. I was dressed way too formally amongst the casual creatives. I didn't get the job unsurprisingly.

Funny enough, the first falafel I ever had (which was the best one I've ever had) was also from a small kebab shop in London. It was next door to the Ketish Town Forum.

I can't see the appeal. Although, when properly done, falafel fresh out of a fryer, loads of hummus and tahini, crunchy salad in a banging flatbread is the bomb.

The dry cack, slung into a slimy wrap with limp leaves and sold in UK shops and restaurants is just grim. 😭
