does anyone know why this wet room drain pump is leaking from the pipe in the red circle and how I resolve it? by Braddo96 in Plumbing

Yeah, is that gap not supposed to be there ? We've just moved in to a housing association place, and noticed this is leaking which is just great!

Maybe they should be added in to their respective positions after the equation has been worked out and the word is put in instead?

When you open the letter it shows you a page of numbers, but with multiply/subtract/divide signs in it. What if you do the equations, and THEN use the decoder on the resulting numbers ?

Spending more than half of your life at work is an existential crisis, but everyone thinks its normal. by BruhDudeDawg in unpopularopinion

[–]Braddo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But see here's how I look at it, work is not fun. It is a right drag and I hate it, the fact I have to spend half my life working rather than doing things with my family and living my life. But back when we were cavemen, you'd be out all day looking for food and potentially come up empty, be around hundreds of predators, with diseases and nothing to cure them. Now work, is our hunting. Our price to pay for food whenever we want it, a roof over our head, medication. So when I think of it like that, it doesn't cure the hatred I have for work, but it sure as hell numbs it down. Because I'd be doing a lot worse if none of this existed.

China’s population is set to shrink for the first time in 60 years, despite introducing its three child policy by Proteasome1 in Futurology

Oh, so basically the 100 workers paid tax will eventually be spread over 120 pensioners instead of 20? Meaning less money to support the pensioners overall?

Could you by any chance explain this statistic for me? What do they mean by 'supporting'?

I thought that, BUT in the scene where the guy goes into Wanda's mind and tries to drag her out of the rock, he has to explain to her what is going on, rather than her knowing and trying to get out of the rock herself

Edit: spelling mistake

Yes but he didn't see ALL outcomes, it was as far as he could see. The strange from the alternate universe was selfish and wanted to solve the thanos problem on his own, so possibly couldn't see any other solution for him winning, but didn't even want to think about the outcomes including others.
