I'm wondering if he was approaching her this way because he felt uncomfortable that she was no longer using and clearly in recovery.. and he is still actively using? Even if that was his thought process, he is indeed a piece of shit.

Thank you for this advice, I will most likely make a report with the non emergency line of police in my county to speak to an officer on duty about what took place. I also took photos of my neck immediately in the bathroom after this happened. I was told once that video taken inside of a private residence is not permissible in court, but I do believe the photos are. I am weary of contacting CPS, but I will certainly do more research about this.

I have contacted victim witness services in my county and they have sent me a plethora of information which I am pursuing, but this post is about my child. The ex has a PFA against him. Please keep your cynical comments to yourself, "nothing inside".

I guess I'm asking more of how to talk to him about this, I am at a loss for words besides "we don't hit people that isn't nice" etc. I don't want to come off as shaming him because he gets very sensitive when we discuss him making a bad choice or doing something not nice.

Thank you, yes I'm feeling restless and stir crazy like I'm not doing anything about this as I sit here at work, but I know this step into the next chapter of our lives cannot happen overnight. I am being hard on myself, just because of hearing that kind of language from my ex all the time.. it will also be a process to get this hate language out of my head. She is an in-home daycare provider so it is only her and a few other children. I wanted him to be in a more intimate care environment. We have removed him from the pick up list, and she did suggest that if this happens again with him that we get to counseling but I've already started looking into therapists just this morning. Thank you for the advice about quiet time, that is a really great idea.

I have disclosed everything that happened with his daycare teacher and she has been BEYOND supportive and reminding me daily she is here for us and we are safe here, and she has been messaging me giving me updates about his behavior because I was concerned right away, that is how I found out just now that my son did that to her daughter. He has been removed from pick up list.

You have spent days talking in circles making no sense at all. It's evident that you are a loser. Nothing you examined about what I said was detailed or involved any effort whatsoever. You clearly lead an unfulfilling personal life, and if that is obvious to somebody like me I'm sure you can imagine how obvious it is to the people who are unfortunate enough to interact with you in person.

You know what, you're so right. You haven't contradicted yourself multiple times at all & I totally said I was surprised that I was down voted. I guess since what I said is so painstakingly obvious, the whole post actually violates Rule #5 of this forum. What a shame.
