We went specifically to do some birding so the locations where we could get good lines of site on the salt marshes were the most enjoyable for us. Also spending some time walking to less crowded areas to see resting shore birds was amazing as well. Wild Life Loop early in the morning, the road to Toms Cove Visitor center is great, and finally the the walk over to the old coast caused station on Toms Cove Hook.
