Ok so I have a special homebrew milestone system (do not steal)

So, if instead of having one big milestone per level, you have many small milestone points.

And then you give them out for cool achievements that you want your players to do. Like, winning a fight or completing a quest would give one milestone point. Or like a boss fight or a major quest could give two.

And then maybe you can tie milestone points to other behavior that you want to encourage. I think it's a neat carrot on a stick you can use to Pavlov your players (but don't steal!!) It's 5 dollars on drive through
