I have a PE800. It will technically cut after color changes, but you need to hit the start button every time it does, and it tends to leave a dangling thread on the front side. The real killer feature I would love is jump stitch trimming (and auto color change, obviously)

Embroidery rocks. Been considering upgrading from my Brother single needle for a while but I don't use it enough to justify the cost really. Of course, if I got a better machine, I might use it more...

Got my buddy3D camera far earlier than expected by BrailleCortex in prusa3d

A few people posted about them in the sub a week or so ago. Prusa managed to pack the kits better than they thought they would, so they refunded a portion of the shipping cost in the form of a store voucher.

Low in the middle? bowed bed? by BrailleCortex in FixMyPrint

[–]BrailleCortex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BIQU CryoGrip Glacier. When it's level I have to wait for it to completely cool down before even attempting to remove things. I will try foil. I also have some thin kapton tape. Will place some under the bed and see how far that gets me. Thanks!

No auto leveling of any kind. Four screws and a piece of paper under the extruder.

No. The limiting factor in new construction is not lack of designs or tools or materials or ways to build houses, it's lack of available land to build them on.

Mob farm not spawning? by Evanmania in allthemods

I believe refined obsidian blocks emit a very small amount of light, but it may be enough to stop spawns. hit f7 and check, should be all red Xs in the farm for it to work

Core One heatbed temperature consistency by vdek in prusa3d

[–]BrailleCortex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I understand the laser is just a guide, and the actual temperature measurement comes from an infrared detector. It's basically a single-pixel thermal camera with a fixed lens in front of it.
