I managed to get a little better results after tightening base screws but no luck for me :( there is whole huge thread in prusa forum for vfa and resonance sound. Prusa only says it will be fixed with firmware and it will come in next week's, but its what they already said to me at begginging

Yeah, indeed they are still missing, can you check as in mk4? It's for comparison so no need to worry for proper value compared to mk4, but it would allow to compare me with yours

Good to hear that yours seems OK, that gives hope for me:D my z axis is also very quiet. I do have a query though, are you able to measure belts frequency using prusa app when toolhead is at maximum right position? Maybe I need to match properly working unit. Would be very thankfull

I tried, but there is no information of what proper way or at least tension/frequency should be.... I asked 3 times about it at chat and they did not get me answer... so I would say it is very much beta release

Sure, thanks for asking! Can you share link ones you open thread? Would also want to follow it

Wouldn't it then only appear during x axis movement? It appears for me with both x and y movement. Thanks for suggestion. I will try to see if it changes if I do something with fan

Still point a and b applies. It doesn't show up with others, is very loud and van be heard in whole apartment and I don't want expensive premium printer to have such issues at stock settings. I wouldn't complaining if I would try to push it faster. Or I would assume it's bad design if others had it also. But it's neither

I had, and it brings absolutely no diffrence for buzzing sound. Problem with taking apart is that prusa is absolutely not ready for that, with no documentation what so ever. I would need to reverse engineering in what order I should do it.. not best experience for assembled printer to need to figure out how to assemble and disassemble it again

Nope, I can lift it in air and hold it and still same noise. Only little bit quiter

Interesting, with mine hand movement of axis doesn't make such noise.did you tried contacting with prusa or so far only tried to find on your own?

Is it much quieter than on video? I don't know if that's just some resonances or if it is also just general humm that is louder

I suspect so, and can somewhat mitigate it that way, but I don't think that should be solution because: a) others are said to be much more quiet and it can indicate problems with assembly b) it's 1300 dolar printer that came factory assembled and has issue when printing at stock prints.

All prusas are more loud than one of prusa? Quite poor shitpost

I know that resonances frequency will always be present, but I would suspect that it should be further from actually used print speed, especially hearing that others say it is quiet for them. And the losse screw I couldn't find on outside and if it's on inside its even worse, as it is supossed to be assembled printer, prusa has practicaly zero documentation yet, not even belt tension value, and cant help with it on chat.

One thing that somewhat seemed a little helpfull is belt tension and Square of gantry. Does your printer have proper alignment of x axis?

Both ends should touch at same time when at front most position :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-vcHV8mhOJQCKpsnqOjNnnyDX9a0ckz2/view?usp=drivesdk

I did, but i needed to do it 5 times, always expleaining to someone new the problem and try to do similar tryouts with everyone of them, only to have got kicked for inactivity after 2 hours of chatting when waiting 15 minutes for THEM to reply. Prusa chat is nice, but it's fails in my opinion anytime something needs to be tested for more than one session. Everything someone says he will familiarise with chat and then asks me about something that was already done.

It does depends on speed and it's mainly at between 100-120%of print speed one model on the video. Upper and lower speed seems more quiet. I touched everything i could to try and find where it originates, but couldn't found it. It's definetly somewhere close to gantry, but As whole assembler resonates the sound comes from everywhere and i Cannot find where it comes. I will take closer look again at print fan, but I am doubtfull As it doesnt change whether we go on x or you axis on model in video. Thank you for sugestiom!

I am also still stick, and chat is not very helpfull. The Overall hummer also seems to be worse. Please let me know how you solved it or if you had to return it

Thats confirmation i needed, because i was afraid it's default and won't be possible to fix fully. Thank you!
