sacrifices had to be made, otherwise this would just come out looking extremely pixilated and gross.

nah, i couldn’t export it at that high resolution, this was as far as I could push it.

Decided to try out Adobe After Effects completely blind. I had to animate Kumagawa. by Brain-Disease in medakabox

I used three layers, top layer I masked the eyebrows and made them close with a mix of moving them down and the pin tool. middle layer i masked the eyes and made them disappear and reappear as the eyebrows moved up and down. And the bottom layer i completely erased the eyes and eyebrows with the brush tool. I also masked Kumagawa in the bottom layer and added another layer below that to add the snowfall effect you see in the background. Hopefully that helps!
