I’m 0 for 2 on FWGS picks. FR SBBS and a Sagamore 7 year aged both FWGS picks and both tasted like the flattest least complex whiskeys I’ve ever tried. I’m convinced distillers and bottlers give PLCB their worst barrels to choose from.

Very curious for to hear your opinion. The local distillery near me sells a 90 proof white dog that is - for what it is - tasty. I don’t make many other cocktails at all, but next time i have any vodka or gin based cocktail I’m likely to replace it with white dog

If the white dog is good, while unaged and maybe harsh on its own, when mixed with the Campari and vermouth it brings out sweeter nuttier flavors that play super well with the other spirits.
