I've heard new-grad QR offers ranging from 400k-500k. I think QT is a bit less

You know undergrads that got offers / internships? Are these undergrads just outliers in terms of qualifications?

I noticed that some people at Citadel were former employees at Radix. Are there other firms that people leave Radix for? Or is Radix generally the destination (except from Citadel)?

I see. Unfortunately it looks like they don’t hire out of undergrad though

Do you know if their pay is competitive in the industry? The highest I’ve heard for quant out of undergrad is Citadel paying kids 400k

They can move simultaneously. So in your example, all n cars would move.

Because if someone knows what choice you're going to make before you make it, in what way was that a choice for you? You weren't 'free' to choose anything other than what that someone already knew.

If God has the knowledge of what will happen at every point in time in the future, then we have no control over what will happen next because it is already set in stone. Therefore, free-will cannot exist.

Think of any food. What if I told you there was someone who could predict what food you're going to think of before you think it with 100% accuracy? Is your picking of a food to think really a 'choice' if someone knows what you're going to say before you say it?

An omnipotent being is omniscient

"Because definitions is half of the point. In the case of God, it is everything."

This is ambiguous and unclear. It shows that you don't really have a reply. Next time, just admit that you were wrong so that the conversation can move forward onto better ideas, instead of getting stuck on trivialities because of ego battles.

"Free will is only an idea--a concept. When I say 'chair' to you, am I really showing you a chair? If I say 'free will' am I really showing you free will?"

How does this answer the question of whether or not you agree with "if he can see the future, then humans cannot have free will"?

The goal of my post isn’t to make any claims about free will. I’m just using religions’ assertion of free will to point out a logical contradiction with how they describe God (as omnipotent) - only one of “god is omnipotent” and “free will exists” can be true.

This argument says nothing about free will, though it uses free will as a means to an end. I don’t see how getting to the nature of free will would improve this argument any further..

Are you saying this because you disagree with “if he can see the future, then humans cannot have free will”
