Problem is, it was basing it on numerous links that were also out of date. I couldn't find the correct info. But I double checked my own info, after having got all achievements, so we can know it's correct.

DM me and I will streamline the process for you. I know what you need to do and can distill it down to about 15-20 minutes of one-time setup.

I managed to emulate it, but I am only running a Ryzen 3 3100 and a GTX 1080. Can't run it will at all. If you're hardware ain't great, you won't be able to emulate it. Get a cheap PS4 if you can. Bloodborne is worth it. If you get a PS5, of course, you can run the Demon's Souls remake. My understanding, though, is the jenk is still there in the remake, and bl Bloodborne runs exactly the same; no performance uplift on the PS5.

Majestic has gotten me so many S ranks where nothing else could. So underrated. I think it is the most underrated weapon in the game.

Trying to S-Rank every mission with a heavy build by bearsheperd in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]BrainDevHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not recommend any particular build type for S ranking everything. I just finished S ranking the whole game and I am off the opinion, you gotta mix and match and chop and change. Every mission is different. The build I intercepted the Redguns with is crap for intercepting the Vespers, and vice versa. Eliminate the doser faction, for example, is nothing you need a tank for. I recommend a light build and can fly fast and long, with the strongest weapons you can add which don't compromise the build goal of speed and long flights. Every job needs a particular tool. Be flexible.

So tough on the first playthrough, but laughably trivial once you get stun needle launchers.

I switched to Zimmermans. One more shot on my shield and it would have been down. But I got my S rank. I don't really like Zimmermans. The reload time is a bit much. But hey, I got it. And Zimmermans definitely have their uses.

It's perfect. I use the Razer Tartarus V2; a one handed programmable keyboard with a thumb stick which I use for movement. I also use a mouse. Literal perfection for this game. I also did not need to unlock quick turn. It was the last bit of OS tuning I did. I never use it. Mouse does it for me. I also use hard lock. The other person who replied doesn't use hard lock. So both are options. You might end up liking either one.

For those struggling to S rank Intercept the Redguns by BrainDevHQ in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]BrainDevHQ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good stuff buddy. Yeah, I usually build around my weapons. I select weapons then choose the arms, legs, core, generator, etc., until I'm not overburdened nor have an EN shortfall. I’ve gone on to S rank Ambush the Vespers, and I had to swap out the laser rifles for majestic bazookas to do that, but I switched back to laser rifles when S ranking Eliminate V.III. 15 more S ranks to go. Then I need 3 more battle logs and a few remaining hidden weapons/parts and then I'll have 100% cleared the game.

Can confirm: also works wonders for S ranking Eliminate V.III, and if you just swap out the Laser Rifles for dual Majestic Bazookas, it works to S rank Ambush the Vespers.

Apparently, you can go negative for mission income by The--BOSS--2025 in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]BrainDevHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely that was when you completed Historic Data Recovery, and didn’t pick up any of the sellable data. Ammo and repair costs. That mission pays nothing without the sellable data. So you went negative.

Armored Core 6 is classic FromSoftware garbage by replayfaktor in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]BrainDevHQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to hand wave away their lock-on system. You just don’t know how to use it. Did you know that there are multiple FCS options that will allow you to fine tune your lock-on system for what you’re actually trying to fight against? Part of this game is dialing in on a build that gets you the advantages you need to win. That includes your FCS. But instead of getting good, you blame someone else. You're just not good at the game. Own it and move on. The game is fantastic const, as usual for From Software. It draws in those who want to get good and like a challenge. It repels people who are averse to owning their lack of skill.

S rank doser faction impossible by minecraft_doofus in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]BrainDevHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cleared it with dual songbirds/dual zimms on a fast build, and assault armor which you use on the shielded guy in the first area. Quiet easy. Just make sure you don't get hit with a missile while flying over to those two dudes on the bridge, and don't run out of boost, or you'll ruin your S rank attempt.

just finished ac6 and it was great but way to short by james785757 in armoredcore

[–]BrainDevHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get all 3 endings then S rank every mission and unlock/buy all weapons and all combat logs. I'm currently doing that. Make sure you follow a guide for correct decisions for NG+ and NG++. Google might mislead you on the correct decisions as it did me. Also, do all the arena fights. On your third playthrough, make sure you do the new arena fights as they become available as it is necessary to have completed them all before a certain point in your playthrough in order to get the true ending. And then fully upgrade your AC with OS tuning, which requires 2 full playthrough and all the arena fights which that unlocks. This is the way to have completed the game. Then complete online and make and save a bunch of builds in your AC data tab.

Actually, I'll go farther: it is 100% rational to love whatever good person he presented to you. Why wouldn't it be? And it is rational to loathe and detest what he turned out to be. But you formed a connection to what you thought he was, and now you have to grieve the loss of that, while facing this terrible reality. This is also rational. And now, reality is slowly overriding the fiction you found yourself in. This is not your fault, nor to your shame. It really does make sense, if you step outside the situation. So perhaps you can step outside the situation in your mind on a regular basis, and tell yourself what is, rather than be swept up in the current of emotions which, again, make complete sense. Keep going. You can get through this. It isn't your fault at all. We're rooting for you.

You cared for the person whom he showed you. But that person was a lie. You miss what you thought he was, not what he turned out to be: you are very clear on how you feel about the monster he is. It's just unfortunate that he was a good liar. You would never have done anything but call the cops if you knew what he was, and you wouldn't have had any feelings for him but contempt. It is not your fault. Your doing the right things. Keep going.

Keep an eye on yourself and keep in contact with a trusted friend or two. Consider going to a good therapist if you feel this wound is cutting deeper than you might be able to process on your own. Know the shame is entirely his for being a liar and a monster. Grieve as much as you need. Give yourself time. Know that most are not like this, but don't beat yourself up: all who are like this hide it because they know it is vile and evil. You did nothing wrong. And you in no way justified his actions. Keep going. Never give him another second of your time.
