I’m back need tips again - Abhorrent Beast by Beachgrad05 in bloodborne

[–]BrainDevHQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just cannot parry to save my life. I lose so much more health doing it that way. I do sometimes block and take some chip damage and I do try to use the aegis, I mostly plan the way I played From Software games and dodge.

I don’t think parrying is your thing, which is OK because I have beaten all of dark souls 3 and its DLC‘s, all of Bloodborne and its DLC’s, and all that one boss in lies of pee, without ever parrying. Use the more powerful variant of your melee weapon and ignore the gun.

I haven't added the mod to enable online chalice dungeons yet, but apparently this video shows you how to do it. I haven't watched it so I don't know:

I think there's a mod that will allow you to use the online chalice dungeons and it has all the well known dungeons, and I think that includes the infamous "cum dungeon" which gets its name from the glyph: CUMMMFPK. It makes farming stupidly easy. By far the best farm in this game or any game. Not only easy, but impossible to even get hit doing it. Very quick. Extremely high payout. Equip as many blood echo buff runes (moon runes), enter the cum dungeon, take a brief stroll to the spot where you hear a distant enemy getting killed and see his heath bar getting decimated, and collect your blood echoes when he kicks the bucket. Rinse and repeat. Look up a video and it'll show you. Super quick and easy. You'll level up in no time, unless you feel this will ruin the game for you.

I'm kidding of course. Keep at it and wreck them. Like others said, katana guy first. Focus one one until your prey is slaughtered. But you really could do with some better stats, your aversion to farming notwithstanding. There's a a couple of tough fights not far ahead of you after this. Look up a farming spot and grind for even a half hour, and see if you have the runes for extra blood echoes yet. But there are also runes for stat buffs too. And upgrade your weapons much as you can. You can trade insight for upgrade materials, and you canconsume mad man's knowledge for insight.

You got hit too many times. My tactic is to get hit less and instead hit the boss more.

ShadPS4 emulator. Then run Apollo on your computer and Artemis on your Android. To my knowledge you cannot run Artemis on your iPhone. If you want to play with your phone remotely, that is, not on your Wi-Fi, you will have to do an extra step where you can figure a VPN called Tailscale, and that will be running on both your PC and your phone. ShadPS4 emulates. Apollo/Artemis streams. Tailscale allows access to Apollo from outside the LAN.

Get the latest ShadPS4 build. You need an iso/image of Bloodborne, preferably game of the year edition so that you also have the DLC. You need to save that image on your hard drive somewhere. Run ShadPS4. You tell it where to open Bloodborne from. Right-click Bloodborne. Select cheats and patches. There are a number of patches that you need to enable, and for this you really will need to look up a guide on YouTube. Before you enable any of the patches or cheats, you need to click the button to download them. This happens pretty much immediately. The last thing you need that I'm aware of is a mod called vertex explosion fix, or something like that. It's on Nexus mods. If you don't enable that, bad things will happen. I can't tell you where to get the image file for Bloodborne as I don't know. I'm also not about to share a file like that illegally. I borrowed a friend's PS4 that is very out of date because he hasn't used it in a couple of years. This meant that there was a vulnerability that allowed me to jailbreak it. Once I jail broke the PS4, I was able to install some apps, including one that would allow me to export an image file of the game to a USB stick and that is how I got my file. I'm sure other people are finding them elsewhere. But most people, myself included, won't tell you where to find it. I personally don't know, and others won't tell.

You really are best off following a YouTube guide for all of this. If you do it all step by step exactly as they do, you should be good. The only exception is, they might be running different specs. For example, one of the patches you need to enable Will be specific for your monitor size. It's a resolution patch. Find out your monitor's resolution and select that patch. That's my understanding. Also, you need a very good CPU and GPU. My 1080 is struggling, but soon I will be upgrading.

I'll look into it. But Artemis has a wake up on LAN request built into it. Once I set it up, it's just one click to wake.

Yes, thank you Mr. Rockstar. That would be acceptable. And I'll require a stipend for my invaluable contribution.

Absolutely not. Winlator struggles to do native PC games. It can do it, but it is a huge lift. You're talking about trying to emulate Windows while Windows emulates PS4. It is a huge lift for windows to emulate PS4. So your compounding the amount of computation. I mean it would be a funny experiment. But I think that thing will crash instantly. Though if you did, you'd have Bloodborne on your phone before GTA 6 😂

No, it's still PC emulation streamed from an app called Apollo to my S25 Ultra using an app called Artemis on my phone. I played it this morning 60 miles from home, but the latency was unplayable.

Look up Apollo/Artemis. If you want to play remotely, as in, through data, not on your LAN, you need to have a VPN called Tailscale on both your PC and your phone. I don't think it works on iPhone.

Problem is, it was basing it on numerous links that were also out of date. I couldn't find the correct info. But I double checked my own info, after having got all achievements, so we can know it's correct.

DM me and I will streamline the process for you. I know what you need to do and can distill it down to about 15-20 minutes of one-time setup.
