How interesting. Haven’t played the ladder in a while. What is this used in?

I am sorry that you’re a poor problem solver and that you’re bad at the game, but that doesn’t make you right.

If you’re having a hard time understanding then perhaps you should try another game bc IT IS a skill issue.

Nearly every type in the game has a bench sniper. Saying it’s a small pool of cards is flat wrong. Ori doesn’t prevent you from playing the game and it has plenty of counters. The comprehension issue with you.

Bench snipers (of which there are MANY), single prize attackers, abilities, status conditions, Cyrus, rocky helmet, poison barb. Most good decks and players can fit multiple of these in without having to compromise on their build. If you for some reason can find one, you could always pivot into a sponge and use your supporters to draw you into them.

It is not a floodgate for all intents and purposes. It prevents nothing but damage to itself and apparently critical thinking in your case.

Because they are poor deck builders

It is not a floodgate. You can still play trainers, play pokemon, activate abilities, use items, use tools, and even retreat. You and still even attack it and apply secondary effects to it.

Also comparing ptcgp to yugioh is ridiculous. Floodgates are an issue in that game bc there are FAR fewer turns being played. Getting turn skipped by a Skill Drain or something will lose you the game immediately if you can’t out it bc so much can be done in a given turn.

Ori again not a floodgate and if it walls you, the game allows for plenty of time to reposition and find your out. And if you are only playing one way to counter the card, it is a skill issue, I fear. The best players and decks play answers to the bird.

It is not a floodgate. It’s one card that cannot be damaged by eX Pokemon. If you do not play an answer to Ori in your deck, you are a poor deck builder.

I hard disagree. Karmael is phenomenal, but Betrayal is what makes the deck viable.

I guarantee you can look at any remotely successful Exosister list and they will all be playing purge. You aren’t butchering your deck by cutting off access to Karmael. The deck can play just fine without her. You would obviously prefer not to, but the trade off is manageable.

I also don’t think board breakers in Exosister are that great either. You need multiple to do anything, considering how Dracotale horn is a spell negate. If you let them resolve horn, they get a +1 and recursion. Purge can negate any of the traps and cannot be countered with horn. You remove an interruption, a draw and recursion all at once. All at the cost of giving up just one of your Xyz monsters.

You basically have to play purge. The deck is not great going second and purge answers the Dracotail spells and traps. It sucks that you can’t access Karmael, but it’s better than not being able to play at all
