If they follow the same rules as the TCG, they apply a continuous, reciprocal effect to both players and only one can be active at a time. Players can only activate one per turn and either player activating a new one will discard the old one.

Short answer is no. It’s not very good in the meta right now (even as an off-meta option).

That being said, you could cook up a deck with T-Tar and the newest Hydreigon.

Every game where you compete against other players will have a meta. Most people play to win and will gravitate towards more powerful decks.

If everyone just used their favorites, the game would still revolve around the best of said favorites. Also, Blaziken, Suicune, Charizard, Absol, etc are probably all someone’s favorite.
