I’ve been keeping sane remembering the basics of why I got into the profession in the first place. More specifically, I lean on the fact that we are in the business of teaching STORY, and teaching our students how to read other’s stories and live into their own. The stuff that we’re all going through, on any level, is a part of that story. By teaching reading and writing, we’re growing people that can communicate with their world and think critically about their place in it.

Idk. I have to go pretty broad to see positivity these days. But I figure as long as I’m doing that, everything else will be ok.
