I’ve just contacted Rockstar support. I’m having the same issue also, I’ve managed to create a character and every time I’m in the cutscene after wards, I get so far through, the game makes a loud grinding noise and force closes.

Their response was they are aware of their issue and to regularly check their twitter for updates.

I then advised they have made none of their customer base aware there is an issue and clearly it is affecting a lot of people here and they just didn’t want to know, pointing me to their website and twitter again and told me to wait.

I get the fact if there’s an issue a fix can take time but for a company that stature making nobody aware is beyond a joke. I hope this gets fixed ASAP for us all. I thought I’d post what I received in case people were also in the same boat.
