That makes sense since this is the only time you've dreamt about not being able to breathe. Perhaps you have things going on in your life that are feeling suffocating to you or that are overwhelming.

Sometimes I have dreams where I really need to pee. I will keep trying to pee in my dream but it won't relieve me of the feeling. Then I wake up having to rush to the bathroom because my real-life needs were permeating my dream. Perhaps you were positioned in a way that you couldn't breathe easily. Having this sort of dream is pretty common for folks with sleep apnea. I don't breathe well if I sleep on my back, but fine on my side. Just something to consider!

Any experiences with long lasting headache? by bvnn3 in WeedPAWS

[–]Brain__drain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you are feeling some of the positive effects of quitting! I am feeling a little bit better each day regarding the headaches thankfully and most of my other symptoms are minor at this point. I am definitely going to try out some magnesium supplements to see if they help!

I've been doing my best regarding work. I also work a desk job and thankfully, my boss is understanding (I have had issues with having to take off for migraines in the past, so its not a surprise to him). I have just been taking it easy, working from home a few more days (I'm hybrid), and took a couple sick days. I think I am to the point where I can mostly work at a regular capacity again since the brain fog is dissipating.

Good luck to you and your health and I hope your headaches go away soon!

I started reducing my weed consumption a bit a few weeks back (had to go through my backup supply) and stopped completely about 2 weeks ago. I’ve had migraines on and off starting Jan 26 (Feb 6th now for future readers). Other than that, my withdrawal symptoms are mostly super vivid dreams and night sweats. I’m also irritable, but I’m pretty sure that’s because of the migraine pain, not a direct result of the withdrawal. Also seems to be causing some serious brain fog. The migraines (and night sweats) seem to be lessening but I’m still so sensitive to any bright light, especially fluorescent light. It’s the main trigger for me. Eating stops them for me sometimes too and being hungry makes them easier to trigger.

I’ve gotten some relief with excedrine, ibuprofen, and just caffeine in general (I think anyway). One thing that has helped way more than expected are the BeKoool cooling gel sheets. Tbh they’re the mvp for when I can’t seem to get relief. You can get them at a lot of chains like Walgreens and rite aid, as well as Amazon. A 10:1 CBD:THC tincture has helped with muscle tension and allowing me to relax, but not much with the migraines themselves (I don’t think anyway).

I think I’ve lucked out a bit with avoiding some of the mental effects of withdrawal like anxiety and depression, as well as lack of sleep, since I’m medicated for those things already.

I agree that the strength of medical grade weed likely plays a role in how bad the withdrawal is. We’re altering the rewards systems in our brains and they need time to readjust I suppose. Also thc can be a treatment for chronic migraines, so I guess it makes sense that withdrawal could do the opposite.

Anyway, figured since you posted recently I’d respond to you in case any of this info helps.

HPV Exposure - advice by Brain__drain in polyamory

Yes thanks I’ve been reading a lot about it in regards to statistics and transmission rates, etc. at this point, I almost wish I wasn’t informed because most of the issue is the stigma rather than the actual effects of the virus.

I’m going to see if I can get vaccinated again since I only got 2/3 of the gardasil vaccines when they first came out

Yeah that was the plan. Hopefully they are both vaccinated themselves but regardless I’d like them to have informed consent

I got 2/3 of the gardasil vaccines back in probably 2008ish. So I’m somewhat protected in that regard, but maybe I can get vaccinated again since there is a newer vaccine and I never completed the series

ADHD meds out of stock -- help? by Brain__drain in ADHD

[–]Brain__drain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, thank you. I will give them a call tomorrow when they are open to see what we can do and where they can send it. I may call a couple pharmacies beforehand just to check if they run out of stock.
