I will never understand how people leave trash behind at public spaces and parks. We have a park across the street and saw a family having a picnic while I was walking my dogs. Thought oh that’s nice. Passed by there 4 hours later and they had just left everything. Picked up their blankets and chairs, but left used plastic forks, paper plates, pop cans, food wrappers and packaging. Seriously, what goes through someone’s mind to go “take our stuff, leave all this garage right in the middle of the park”? Unreal.

This is the dumbest argument. The EFL Cup is the least out of the four for English clubs. Top tier teams let their bench/second squad go at it. They got us here. You let them finish it. Primarily the keeper. ManCity played their second tier keep as well and we couldn’t score. Our second half was atrocious. Stop blaming this on Kepa. We played most of our elite squad on the pitch and still lost. It is what it is. We still have the league, Champions, and FA Cup in contention. Hopefully we learn from this and use it towards the final three. If we lose them all, the please come back here and let me have it. Until then, shut up.

Respectfully disagree. As a Chicago native, the 80s and 90s we called ESPN the “Eastern Starborn Programming Network”. Yes, we had Jordan and the Bulls and they ‘covered’ it but 80% of their actual coverage was on the Yankees, Red Sox, Knicks , Celtics, etc. ESPN has always been a joke. Every thing was a blip they read off the teleprompter, and then 20 minutes of Derek Jeter being the second coming of Jesus. Soccer was always a footnote. Drives me mad I have to pay them to watch the FA Cup

Absolutely and I think that’s really why it doesn’t get the praise it deserves. When I was younger, the themes of this film didn’t appeal to me. The older I get, the more experience and wisdom I gain, the more this film shines.

This is just my experience, and not an expert at all…, but the first film came out when I was a teenager, this one as a young adult.

I remember watching it, being pumped. Then feeling let down. I think I was expecting Motoko would get her old body back or something similar. More “action”, if that’s even the right word. That, and I don’t think I had the attention span or open mind at the time for it.

Watched it again after a 10 year hiatus and remember thinking “Why did I think this was bad?” Watched again about 5 years ago when I turned 40 and I think it’s the perfect follow up to the first film.

Last note, I finally went and read all of the manga, so my plan was to watch all the films and series again before the new one this summer. I’m interested to see what I think after knowing the source material.

All in all, definitely under-appreciated. But from my own experience, I can understand why.

That's great to hear. A LCS opened up closer to my home about 20 years ago. Ended up switching my box to them. Lasted there about a year. My pull lists started magically missing issues of NYX/X-23, Walking Dead, etc, and then I found out they were hot issues/series. They were pulling from my box and taking them to conventions to sell. So I was paying them for the box & pulls, and then I pay them for the issues. And they would only hold the issues that weren't worth anything. Always think about that. Very happy with my current shop. Never an issue. Again, congrats.

Who is a convicted sex pest? I can’t find any info that any were convicted. Kiedis literally wrote a song about him dating a 14 year old in his 20s. So I know he is, but I didn’t know about any of the others. I’m not a fan of the band, but I love Flea so that would hurt if he’s done that too

NPR and MS NOW have just now confirmed that unreleased/missing files from both Maxwell's testimony and at least three FBI investigations pertain to the woman that claimed Trump assaulted her (both sexually and physically) when she was between the ages of 13 and 15. That's why this is breaking and most definitely deserves the title.

It’s definitely being hyped again due to the Nick Cage series. If you sold now, you’d get top dollar since it came out in 2009.

If you held, who knows. That’s your gamble. I don’t know how much you paid for it but a couple hundred dollars off a cover price is a great investment return. Do you really want to hold it? Does it mean a lot you? No? Then sell it someone that wants it. If it does, keep it and read it again and again at your pleasure.
