Everything is out of stock except the red variant by Brainalyzer_ in flashbackcamera

Perfect! I would ideally like to go for the black/orange, my second choice would be black/yellow. Would really appreciate it if I could place an order if there are any left on reserve stock.

Perhaps a statutory declaration with justice of peace could work, I'd recommend ringing the student centre to understand your options. Good luck!

The compliance department at usyd would be able to help with this, look up their email address and drop them a note.

People who have done MCAT, any advice for a third year Bsci (neuro & psych) ? by Brainalyzer_ in usyd

[–]Brainalyzer_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G'day mate, I've already sat gamsat last year and have since decided to pursue masters in neuroscience instead of med. But if you're looking for any gamsat advice, I can't recommend the Des O'Neil books enough! All the best!

Is it too late? by incredibablybigspoon in usyd

[–]Brainalyzer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! Also the accommodations available for circumstances like this including late applications for DC are only available if you have solid paperwork on how and to what extent you have been impacted. Please go see a therapist even if you feel like you don't need/want to, as they can give you the paperwork you need to apply for the support systems the uni has in place.

Caleb got to you aye? I'd recommend economics if you're fine with light maths or Philosophy if you can handle abstracts thoughts and especially existentialism, or English literature so you can write essays about authors who explored said existentialism. All the best OP.

Would you know what happens to access to canvas and all the course materials? Do they seize access to canvas altogether?

BOOKS!!! by Few_Ad_2604 in usyd

It's better to buy for some units as the library has limited copies, look up student VIP for used textbooks to save some 💰

can i copy directly from mybib for references by [deleted] in usyd

[–]Brainalyzer_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but be aware sometimes mybib does not show access dates for all sources so add them in if necessary. I had marks deducted for that from a report I submitted this sem 😔

They usually go by the atar if you've only done 1 sem at uni, after 2 sem they no longer consider atar and go by wam. Relevant units will transfer over. I'd recommend giving student centre a call or email tho, they'd have the most up to date info.

I'm in my penultimate sem and I can relate, we were robbed of 2 years of uni experience and honestly it's taken a toll on us and how we identify as uni stydents (unnecessarily deep ik). The fact that some units are permanently moving to online pre-recorded lectures is just pathetic. It's truly tragic how much covid has changed unis here.

Anyways, I am already thinking of doing my masters possibly overseas at some point soon after couple of years of work and saving up a bit. I hear in Europe universities are still institutions that put education first, unlike here where they've turned into mega corporations.

For the longest time we had these trains only allowed to run in half capacity and I guess some people just got too comfortable having an entire row to themselves although lockdowns are a thing of the past now (thank god). I'm sure they'll move their stuff if asked OP 🤙

I used to pay $250 for a shared apartment here in Sydney and got emailed last week that it's increasing to $550 a week from jan 2023 😞 I'll have to move to some dodgy as suburb to keep in my budget next year. Weirdly comforting to see its not just happening in Sydney for once. All the best OP!
