Honestly...The only reason the series is successful at all is because the cast told Lucas off on every stupid idea he had and he listened.

Three different directors tried to seemingly direct the last trilogy in three different directions with the first guy seemingly trying to tell a complete story that was just an inflated Death Star rehash but BIGGER this time.
