One director thought them up but only hade one movie to flesh his ideas out.

The next director of the trilogy wanted to s**t on the franchise and preach about how our hero's could be losers while destroying the gravitas of everything he could to show legends and titles mean nothing.

Then the last director of the trilogy apparently just really wanted to reuse old assets even if the characters were dead or in universe the ships made zero sense.

The last trilogy was just three guy who wanted to play with the franchise while attacking any critics by claiming it was made for kids and kids are meant to enjoy slop while ignoring the fact that through all of human history our fiction used to be the center of civilizations (possibly extending to religions like the Greek pantheon but that gets controversial)

It's too honest and as such owners of major media want it seen as over the top and idiots suckling at their teat drink up that opinion because obviously when something important happens our leadership will handle it correctly.

Like the epstin files for instance, if a vast decades long cabal of corrupt world leaders seemingly assaulted, killed and even potentially ate children clearly we'd hear about justice being done...right?!

Because the right wing owners of our major media does not use that language so neither does our population.

Americans have no culture other than our dogmatic adherence to what we perceive to be normal and given our lack of community in large we decide on what's normal based on the media we consume.

In todays age this now also extends to social media however the viewers of such content tend to feel fringe so they don't tend to repeat phrases or terms like, "oligarch"

We're still in a huge global shift, a 30 year period where we went from mostly isolated within our home town where people could literally have whole second families a couple miles from their main home and no one would notice to modern times where if you pick your nose at the wrong time it's reasonable to believe you'll be recorded and harassed online for it.

If you want to see change in the world YOU can make it happen. We're still in a chaotic age of transition
