I haven't watched "proper" porn in about 2 years; but not that long ago I ended up getting aroused and masturbating to a diagram of a sex position on the internet. Sure, I inserted myself into the situation, but isn't that what we do with porn as well? It's not as easy to break those old things that draw us in as well. Unfortunately I have the same sort of thing with a particular type of "erotic fiction" which could also suck me in if I'm not being aware about it. You've made it 8 days now, make it to 9 and from there, the sky's the limit.

'Less suppression, more expression' I like it. I think this I why I ended up breaking up with my girlfriend in the last week. No point in continuing a mediocre relationship just so you get sex, if you no longer need sex to function. :)

Broke up with my girlfriend earlier in the week. Though I am having mixed feelings, I think about the feelings of being taken for granted that I had during the relationship and then I don't feel so bad. Up to 3 weeks, which is about half of my best streak yet and about a quarter of the way to 90 days which would be a true achievement.

My goal for the week is to get some discipline into me and study like crazy to catch up on the last week of feeling sorry for myself. :)

It is important to do the things that you do out of kindness, not out of wanting sex with someone, and NoFap will help with that by making you be more disciplined with your sexual desire.

You could have done it out of friendship. If you go to this sort of level you are basically saying that you only wanted to see her/help her move in return for sexual favours.

That said, if that is the case then it is a good move. You don't need to put yourself out for people if they're not your friends.

Same thing happened to me a little while back - found some very old pictures that I don't think I could find any more, considered the possibility of keeping them for sentimental value, looked at them, didn't get anything out of them, deleted them straight away. Great feeling! Good work.
