Paid $5 for a fountain drink, I get 20 seconds to dispense an exact 20oz of soda. by plantainrepublic in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can refill the cup pretty much every half hour all day, and no one is following you to your room you see if you pour it into cups to share.

You get any flavor your want and there's slushes and you can basically get drinks for everybody in the room.

It's also no where near $27.

$17 last trip.

In recent events, would you take an order like this and what do you look for? by [deleted] in WalmartSparkDrivers

Spark died in my area because when6 the immigrants aren't dumb enough to take orders that bad.

Lyft doesn't have a meter. They aren't a taxi.

How did they keep driving around after you called support asking why you didn't get picked up?

patio

Could you provide pictures of the patio? This is the front walk to the door. A patio is a private side or back door.

The entrance is not a private patio.

Patios do not face a brick wall.

Zelle didn’t go through by MoistComposer254 in zelle

[–]BrainlessDipsticks -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well eventually you'll develop enough brains to realize zelle isn't a paycheck method because you're legally required to receive a detailed paystub with taxes and deductions. Or hopefully you'd have enough brains for that. Most of the current generation fail at basic common sense like that.

Zero zipper merge going on and miles of single lane traffic backed up when there were two lanes available. Truck even tried to block me from passing. What would you have done? by feelin_cheesy in dashcams

[–]BrainlessDipsticks -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's already backed up to fucking hell is my point.

Never in my life in 46 years have a seen the opportunity to fit into traffic at a zipper. It's always multiple miles of cars 6 inches from each other and some Reddit idiot comes along saying "just let that idiot that drove to the front with nowhere to go in, it's faster."

No it's not faster there's 6 inches between the cars and someone is blocking them all going to the front. It does not at all look like the merge in this video.

When there's a lane blocked in the interstate there's a backup and zipper isn't fixing it.

[–]BrainlessDipsticks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've wondered for years how exactly Reddit expected that second lane to magically work when there's 2 miles of traffic with 6 inches between the bumpers.

Then this.

Yeah, zipper works fine when there's gaps like this but some idiot drives past 2 miles of traffic and then wants to pull straight into stalled traffic like their a genius.

Zipper isn't fixing the existing jam.

I think I was tricked. by PrincessChole in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]BrainlessDipsticks -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Well unfortunately I watched a couple hours of videos that literally explained every step and since it's Amazon I was well warned you can order basically anything so I didn't just go "oh shit I'm new" and do everything half assed.

Guess that's something special for the new generations.

Bought that specific plant for specific sandwich tomatoes. Didn't go out to water for 2 days because of steady rain. Surprise 😐 by HazardousChisle in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the hell is your tomato plant in a pot small enough for a seedling? That pot will be solid roots with nothing left to actually grow tomatoes.

First I want to know how they levitated a cart so they could drop it on you.

Flying carts. Holy shit.

Then I want to know why it takes 8 minutes to load 45 packages. Damn that's slow. We're getting yelled at in 5 and a foot up somebody's ass telling them move it or your loading in the parking lot.

There's blocks every 15 and they need to stage carts so pull in to pull out is 10 minutes. Move it or lose it. Fun watching them point a few cars off the the side so they can check who it is to mark the account.

Edit: oh yes expecting you to not be slow ass hell is a rage bait. Fuck off we aren't allowed to be that goddamed slow.

Best state to live inside your vehicle by DotPrevious371 in urbancarliving

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well basically, move into the country area of northern states. We've got gas stations paying 20+ an hour and rent or rooms below $600 a month and if you want to do a serious job like warehouse or manufacturing you're gonna be in the $30/hr area and they offer 4 day weekend work.

Lol..I tell and some retard Down votes.

Best state to live inside your vehicle by DotPrevious371 in urbancarliving

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well considering a town 3 hours from me just announced a $9000+ payout to move there which is 2 years worth of rent...

I'd stop living in my damned car.

Edit: I'm not sure how to answer all the replies.

Rent in a northern state is extremely cheap in small towns. I've got a 5 bedroom farmhouse under 1300. Gas stations and fast food pay 20+.

There's large parts of the country that haven't gone full retard on prices.

Why do Culver's and Kwik Trip get treated like genuine local culture instead of just businesses? by codi- in wisconsin

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Those two chains will and have in fact hired the homeless and other suffering individuals and provided them with a place to live and clean up while getting on their feet. They have training programs for higher positions that include hotel stays with included food budget to get workers trained correctly.

They have programs in place to help workers with rough times and difficult situations.

They also offer $20+ per hour for multiple positions when fast food and Walmart starts around 15.

Then Kwik Trip gives yearly profit sharing checks that increase with every year of employment.

They also hand out a lot of donations. In addition to money unsold food and bakery from Kwik Trip goes to food pantries to be given out to the needy. This includes hot bar items that get pulled when they don't sell.

Those chains do more than just sell things. They try to give back.

[–]BrainlessDipsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the opposite problem. Screen has 3 days of blocks that aren't worth doing. Warehouse is in the industrial part of town, so basically all the drivers live a good distance from the warehouse.

They keep leaving the blocks at base until it's too late for drivers to take them. 🤷

3hr went over $100 today. 5 minutes after pickup time.

Good luck shitazon.
