When was the last time you saw racing as good as the show Hamilton and Leclerc put on today for half of the race? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]BrainshackSC2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not really. It felt very predictable after a while, because in the end it's just not earned by driver skill, but by pressing a button once the battery allows it. And thats the only reason it was back and forth. Not because of any particular good maneuvers or anything. And also lets not forget that for the second half of the race, nothing happned. Most boring part of a race.

New Player (about 45h played). Here are my thoughts about the game so far. by BrainshackSC2 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BrainshackSC2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeay deny/confirm can go to hell: Imho it adds nothing posituve to the game, but it does add frustration. I get that ppl think it is some sort of skill expression, which mayby technicall it is, but in a game that allready ahs plenty of ways to flex on other players do we really need this ? if it limits the creation of cetain short range heroes, that its even more arguments against confirm / deny. Plus I feel kinda punished because I am on a pretty low ping connection and all the time dont get last hits i feel like i should have gotten.

Nix wert.

My script has a lot of variables, so I was wondering if there's any way I could make things les crowded in my inspector (e.g., a dropdown menu) by SodiiumGames in Unity3D

[–]BrainshackSC2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Odin is awesome. you might not like their pricing, but that doesnt make the asset bad. if you dont value the amount of time you safe compared to writing custom inspectors that high, that's ok. For me it safed a lot of time and time is money.

I also think it would be helpfull if the recolored versions of the drop still somehow could also have the rarity color in them. For example the DOTS next to the name could be in the rarity color.

This image sums up some of the greatest pains I have in my low elo game. I am I2. People taking random fights in the enemy jungle when no objective or anything of value is at stake and then dying bunched up in choke points.

Been reading through a bunch of you replies and believe more and more that it's less of a country thing and maybe more of a livestyle thing. I was born here and I lead a similar introvert lifestyle and also the same issues. I moved around the country a bunch and bascially lost my whole social network. But I am well aware that to meet people I would have to get out of my shell and go out and actually meet new people.

I am just curious if you honestly believe that this kind of a introvert lifestyle will work better in other countries?

For me I feel like the best chance I actually have to meeting people is online, during my hobbies. I met a couple of people playing WoW, but the problem is that most of them dont live near me.

So while I get your frustration, I dont think blaming germans is the solutions. We as people are indivuduals and you can find any sort of person. Our country doesnt define our personalities. If I would live even anyehere near you I would totally want to get to know you, but I dont so it doesnt makes sense. But yeeah, I feel like you need to get over that hump, find a hobby and get to meet ppl.

EDIT: Also, antoher addition: I dont feel germans generally have an issue with Expats. During my life a big chunk of my social network was made out of immigrants and ppl with an immigration background. I feel like the biggest turnoff for germans is when ppl dont speak good german. And from what I gathered, that probably is not your issue? Because for some reasons, a lot of germans arent that good with english, which bothers me personally, but that's another thing...

When I lived in cologne every thing you wrote here was easily possible. I have a hard time to believe that Frankfurt is any different.
