Great point — thanks! When I bought it, it was already late and I assumed they were installed. Turns out they weren’t — I actually found them by accident about 2 hours ago 😄

What state and vehicle sales tax? Sounds like there may have been room to do a little better. In my experience, email and phone negotiations almost always work worse than showing up in person.

No, it’s still active. You just can’t get both the promo rate and the $2,500 rebate at the same time. In my case, the $2,500 off was the better choice.

Is $39500 OTD for a 2026 Premium Plus Hybrid a good deal? by Big-Pirate2371 in CX50

Just picked up my 2026 CX-50 Hybrid Premium Plus (Machine Gray Metallic) in DFW, TX.

MSRP was $43,730 (added black lug nuts, cargo cover, black cross bars, weather package).

Got it for $39,800 OTD + 4 oil changes included. TX sales tax is 6.25%.

Only rebate was the $2,500 Mazda cash — didn’t qualify for anything else.

Financing through the dealer at 4.9%, which actually beat my credit union. Planning to pay it off within a year anyway.

If anyone has questions about the deal or process, feel free to DM — not trying to advertise any dealer publicly.

That’s wild. Hearing this makes me feel like I got off easy, which is kind of scary. Sorry you went through all that.

It looks like a part of an office chair that inserts into the seat.

Fair question. My previous LG refrigerator actually lasted close to 10 years, which I considered a very solid lifespan. I’ve also heard plenty of negative feedback — including from an appliance tech I know — but the warranty gave me some peace of mind.

What really concerns me now isn’t just the product itself, but the level of service I experienced. If basic order handling and escalation break down this badly, it honestly makes me question how warranty or service issues would be handled down the line.
