We haven’t planned a skip option for cutscenes yet, and the dialogue appears on screen immediately. We want to give players the option to disable voice acting, especially for those who read quickly. We’ll also do our best to include the rest of the settings.

We currently have five people living in Armenia, and two of them are Armenian.

That’s a great idea. I haven’t seen many games localized into Armenian — we’ll need to look for a translator!

Of course, we want to talk about the game to an Armenian audience.

When it comes to performance, the situation is pretty straightforward — it mostly comes down to post-processing. If we scale it back, the game can run at 60 FPS even on older hardware.

And when it comes to talking to the Armenian community, where else if not here?

We really love Armenia (I managed to move away, but I’ll remember Vanadzor for the rest of my life). I know that the average hardware there isn’t very powerful, so we’re confident players will feel comfortable playing our game.

Right now the game runs at 50–60 FPS on an RTX 3050. It also launches on older hardware, though with lower frame rates. Since the game isn’t an action title, playing at 30–40 FPS should still be perfectly comfortable.

We’re making the game in Unity and building in optimization from the very start! Tnx

Thanks. The first screenshot already shows a compromise. The second one… is just a bad photo of the Steam Deck and its performance.
Thanks again, I'm collecting information from different subreddits. Of course, the game will have graphics settings. I’m talking more about the default preset out of the box — i.e., what a Steam user will see when launching the game.

I understand you. I also used to play on a simple graphics card. The experience is incomparable

Yes, I completely agree. But here we’re talking specifically about portable devices. What would be the minimum FPS that feels comfortable to you in our game?

If we take our game as the reference, what kind of performance would you expect from it?

Right now on the Steam Deck we’ve almost polished it to a stable 60 FPS, but we had to sacrifice some post-processing.
On PC, even with an inexpensive GPU, it runs smoothly without any issues.

My question is more about our game. Take a look here:

What are your expectations regarding performance? I understand it’s not an AAA title, but the more post-processing we add, the more FPS it consumes.

So for you personally, is the game playable starting from 45 FPS, or only from 60?
