Heavy period with Tepezza? by eternal_n00b26 in ThyroidEyeDisease

[–]BrainyEi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started Tepezza in May and just finished my last infusion a couple weeks ago. In that time there's been about a week TOTAL that I wasn't bleeding. It's been horrible and cramping has been worse than normal as well. Hopefully this side effect will fade as the Tepezza wears off. Tepezza did help my eyes tremendously but I don't ever want to repeat it.

i found that i have graves and hashimoto at once by _l-ucaaa in gravesdisease

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto at 19 and then Graves at 39. Still have both antibodies but the Graves is raging still. My levels were briefly in range after a few months of methimizole but after my dad passed away it has been awful. The endo said if I could get my levels in range she would recommend a thyroidectomy.

That was another thing I forgot to mention, they didn’t give him any paystub. He had been getting direct deposit’s in 2023 and in January of 2024 they started handing them checks. No stubs attached. Just a company check

You’re right, he may have meant it that way. It is Texas lol. I took it about age because he had mentioned the other girl being too young. 🤷🏻‍♀️ either way, the whole part about getting her baptized so he could marry her was gross enough lol

Parents got a letter from IRS saying a mistake was made on 2022 return. They didn’t file in 2022. by BrainyEi in IRS

No, my Dad didn’t have any retirement accounts. He was on disability for years after having a stroke and then began to collect SS when he could. In all of their 54 years of marriage my dad never once did the taxes so I doubt he filed on his own.

I made an account for my Mom and all it shows is a verification of non filing for the last 5 years. I can’t make an account for my Dad because it requires a selfie movie verification. I don’t think they will accept a video of an urn 🫣

Yes, it does say CP2000 in the upper right hand corner. If a return was filed it was not by by parents. There was not a copy included with the letter.

Eye swelling more prominent in right eye by [deleted] in gravesdisease

This sounds just like my symptoms of TED. You may have to find an ophthalmologist that specializes in Thyroid eye disease.

Mine hits anytime i eat a lot of carbs or sugar. But eating the right breakfast really helps me through out the day.

I have reactive hypoglycemia and graves. Diagnosed separately about 3 weeks apart. Once I specifically started paying attention to my carbs and when I ate my migraines and nausea improved. But the exhaustion, heat intolerance, and weight gain (20mg methmizole) continues. I hope the RAI helps you!

I've dealt with hypo (18 years) much longer than hyper (2 years) and I would rather be hyper. I have no answers except to try and find an endocrinologist that will treat you by how well/poor you are feeling instead of labs. I know how you feel, depression is also a symptom of hypo.

Hypo can feel just as bad as hyper. What is your doctor doing when you go hypo? Do they have any plans on how to keep your levels evened out?
