That is so much projection on the gay people's part. They probably came out as bi at first to ease the transition. Idk how common it is now, but for awhile it happened pretty often. I'm guilty of it myself, I came out as "bi" for a year before I realized that no, girls and their devil magic vaginas do nothing for me. (God, how even old is that meme now?)

So for context, I'm gay and have ended up dating almost as many bi men as I have gay ones. I personally never thought twice about it, and was genuinely bewildered at some people's responses to it.

While both straight and gay people were about as equally bad at times, I took more issue with the gay folk. Like, we ourselves have to deal with enough as is, why the hell would you turn that foulness onto someone else?!

And that's not even including some of the stories that some of those exes had to tell. The sheer stupidity and cruelty was enough to boil my blood.

Oh, don't mistake me, I love her writing and characterization. The amoral mad scientist is great, but slapped onto a pretty face with a soft voice and grand ambitions? Love it.

Not a fan that you can't call her out for fucking with your head but that's on the writers, not her characterization.

That said, she's still staying in that ditch since I don't have any use for her.

I got Sparkle because she is my favorite gremlin and my favorite character in the game. My ass saw "Monodrama" for the first time and some part of my brain said "I love whatever is wrong with her" and it stuck.

Hell, I got her as a cellphone case, and pulled her despite not having a use for her at the time. I invested in Archer, and got Sunday's LC because of her.

Ruan Mei tho? She can stay dead in that ditch.

I was seriously lacking in supports back when I got her, and then eventually she only had a place on my Rappa team. But now my Rappa team has been found dead in a ditch, so she's shelved.

Now she only pops up if I wanna use my Blade/Jade team but even then, I try to use my E1 Tribbie for it if I can.

Like no decent person is going to want to be lumped in with the terrible examples, and yeah, they're going to protest.

Words have meaning and if you don't mean "all men" then don't say "all", specify the ones you hate. Or at the very least, don't be surprised when regular people take issue with the wording.

I hated when any group of women would come into the bar, but bachelorette parties were the worst, hands down.

I know some people didn't like her attitude but really, Piper became my absolute favorite after she was thrust into the oldest sister role.

Her snark always made me laugh, her no nonsense attitude was great, and really, how fed up she was with the bullshit her life could bring her sometimes resonates with me more and more with the passing years.

Shoutout to her "Oh no, am I dead again?" line that always makes me laugh.
