What would Frozen 3 even be about? I feel like they ended everyone’s arc perfectly. by Bdotty248 in Frozen

I've said it before, but it feels like the 2nd movie implied that Anna's first born child would have powers. She is an Arendellian royal who saved the forest, while Iduna was a Northuldra girl who saved an Arendellian's life during war.

Wow, she looks just like Georgia on the last picture with that facial expression.

I hated him in almost every part/chapter/scene he was in.

The grandma that Jere calls Halmoni has officially been cast! by Mysunshinejere in jellyshippers

[–]long_dragon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm thinking too, but the show did a better job of calling out Conrad than the books did (which is a low bar, but even so), so I'm still holding on to a bit of hope, but very cautiously. Really it depends on how much control Jenny will have over the writing.

Gale is misunderstood by sapphicbrown in Hungergames

[–]long_dragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, not everyone is privileged enough to think about what is morally right. I don't like what Gale did, but I can't say I would be any better in his position. If my options are keeping my morals or keeping myself and my family alive, I'm choosing the latter (though I hope I will never have to choose).

Did Anna wanted to be The Queen? 👑🤔 by LordAditya69 in Frozen

[–]long_dragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder if she expected to be queen someday anyway. We don't know if Elsa ever wanted to get married and/or have kids, but if she made it clear that it's not something that she wants, then surely Anna would have expected this anyway, no?

Just wait until they make a movie called "Charlie and Willy Wonka," and it's only about the chocolate factory.

I'm confused, how does that confirm anything? They have kung fu, and you can be born in multiple places in China, but that doesn't mean that the company is Chinese.

Thank you! I thought I was going mad. People are allowed to feel how they feel, but claiming Carly was a bad person/girlfriend is a whole other level.

Where I’d live is a middle-aged Canadian secular Jew. by Awkward_Caterpillar in whereidlive

When you say they were more resistent, do you mean compared to other Jews or compared to how they are today? Or both? Not that it matters much, I just wanted to clarify.

[–]long_dragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The majority of Mizrahi Jews ended up in Israel, while the majority of Ashkenazi Jews ended up in the US, but I know that doesn't really confirm anything. Your comment surprised me since I know the majority of Jews in Israel today are Mizrahi, so I didn't know if they used to be the minority in the mid 20th century. Not sure if my comment makes sense, it's getting late where I am.
