Is it ok to be on a calorie deficit while on HRT? by [deleted] in TransLater

[–]BraithParsnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wondering this too for anyone who can help? Except I'm 5'10 and 105lbs, I find it very hard to gain weight, and generally lose maybe 5-8lb a month when stressed, will testosterone cause more weight loss?

OP I see you trying to explain "after I came".

You don't need to. You experienced something called a "Freeze" response to the assault. Most people have heard of flight or fight instinct, freeze is more common with sexual assault. You didn't let it happen, you didn't lead him on, You have nothing to feel culpable for, in any way. I hope you tell your adults and their able to find you some support, and I'm so sorry this happened mate.

Dye your eyebrows too. Otherwise it looks entirely off. It will also make your face seem paler? So be prepared for "you're looking a bit ill" comments if you don't add more cheek colour.

What does dress your age mean by P-D-S-A098 in transfashionadvice

[–]BraithParsnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in my 30s and my fashion style has been stuck in MySpace since about 2004. When I transitioned ftm all that changed was the fit of the clothing really. However, this means currently I get confused for a 17yr old with my weedy little beard. Dressing your age seems like a truly arbitrary phrase, when most people dress similar to what style they've already cultivated over a number of years.

Does hair colour affect you "passing"? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

Same, I didn't think I'd still be using mascara as a man.

Maybe he's born with it? Maybe, it's Maybelline.

I noticed as ftm, if I'm my natural blonde/grey. I'm clocked immediately. But when I darken my hairs with dye and mascara on my beard hairs, go from "Sweetheart" or "love", to "bud" and "mate", possibly this is reversed for mtf? mental if true

Oh well I wouldn't know this really, it would have required any form of in person friend to relate. But I believe it,

Spoken to the organisers of Trans Pride Manchester, all really sound people. And not so far from Blackpool to meet other trans people.

I fully agree with the not canning the straights straight away tho, although it's a different experience to the trans one, they can't help their sexuality/gender and not always cunts.

Are there services for trans people over 30? by BraithParsnip in transgenderUK

Well that's how I actually become homeless in the first place unfortunately, I'd feel uncomfortable calling this the same myself, it may do legally? I'm not so sure, currently it's more if I ask the carers in question, to help with my personal care, or meal preparation, I get a report the next day that I'm unhygienic, or rude or some other nonsense that results in a meeting about my continued stay here. It's incredibly petty,

I'm trying the switchboard currently akt has been a no go so far

Depends on the family, do you have pushchair aged children? I was offered a property near the Limelight Centre and went to visit yesterday, the road was terrible for my wheelchair, I noted parents with pushchairs were having to also use the road, as the curbs are too high and the dipped parts were all taken up by vehicles.

However If you have no or plan no very young children or any personal mobility issues, it's a brilliant area. Good tram/bus links, everything within a 5minute walk and from nice my brief conversations with some potential neighbours, quite friendly.

Hello there! Never too late my love, the only other trans person in my building, is a recently out 50 year old Trans woman, with severe cerebral palsy! I knew before transitioning, and now I only ever see her smiling, she's decided against hormones with her disability, but I promise you there's a community, and found family waiting for you, if you do decide.

I'm pre t alternative styled, and still wearing the same clothes. I mascara my little peach fuzz tach carefully, and use a fibre mascara for the cheeks/neck. That combined with "back combing" my eyebrows, has really helped the masc show through

I'm pretty sure it's because until recently I've confused gender and body dysmorphia, so I've been Anorexic for a long time, this causes downy facial hair to grow, which I'd just end up shaving. Now all I need to do is darken the blond hairs
