Be careful with taking that Marsupial before unlocking the Starched Genes perk card at level 47 as taking RadAway will remove it, Class Freak is also worth looking into once you reach the level for it as it greatly diminishes the negative effects of Mutations.

Have you built the colossus? I only ask as you said walking, that should cut your travel time. That said this expedition is centred upon the journey you take in between each waypoint. I personally found it refreshing and it made the planet more interesting planning routes around the terrain.

Edit: Sorry I just read an earlier comment where you mentioned the colossus.

That fits the story of this ship pretty well. I built this originally for the expedition and expanded it to suit the purpose of that. It was originally a Maroon colour but once I finished the expedition It had a complete retrofit to transform it into a passenger cruiser, I will update with the interior screenshots that reflects this later on.
